chapter 14

{Mariah POV}

**** the next day ****

I didn't get much sleep last night thinking about where sheriff Stilinski was..he isn't my biological father but he still cared for me and Scott like we were his children.

Scott walked in and he told me stiles was coming to get us .

"he needs us.... he needs you."

"why..?"

"you can help .. Lydia is still pretty shookin up about what happened last night."

I stood silent..

I walked to the bathroom and locked the door behind me and I just stared at myself in the mirror..

"why...me'' I said to myself "why.. me...?"

I jumped at the sound of stiles horn outside. I walked down stairs..

Scott was already in the car so I sat in the back seat. I could see the worried look in stiles face. so I gently grabbed his hand to let him know he wasn't alone.

when we got to stiles house . it felt so empty with out sheriff Stilinski there.. we walked up the stairs and we could see the marriage photos of Claudia and him. and we got to the last picture.

it was of me, Scott, and stiles..

"that is the photo of my sister and my brother." Stiles said as he put his hand on my shoulder..tears began to fill my eyes.

"we're going to find him Stiles.. we will.." I turned and hugged him. "I miss him .."

"I miss him too" he said caressing my head.

"change of plans ..guys were going to the hospital." Scott said interrupting our moment of sadness.

"Ohkay.." I said breaking the hug and I walked back down stairs.

**** at the hospital ****

It was raining cats and dogs outside but stiles gave me an umbrella.

when we walked in aunt Melissa was in a panic. she needed everyone evacuated and we just got here.

"why are we here." I asked in the elevator . "and why does stiles have aunt Melissa's bat.?"

"Derek's sister is in trouble... and I'm not sure."

"its for protection." stiles said sarcastically.

we finally reached the floor Derek's sister was on. and some thing ..more like someones slid across the hall way and stopped in front of us.

"I'm going to need a little help..and I'm peter." he said looking at me.

"mariah.." I replied. I looked up and there stood this 7 foot high werewolf with red eyes.. "what the hell is that.!!!???"

"its Ethan and Aiden .." Scott said.now find a place to hide while I distract him.

when Scott got pinned up against the wall we decided to make a run for it . and we locked our selves in a room..

with Derek and Ms.Blake.

I didn't even look at that bitch.

"if you help me get out I'll help your sister." she said.

"okay.." Derek said.

Scott came in with peter looking crazy. they were looking for things to defend themselves from the conjoined twins.

peter found a needle."what about this .?" he asked

"no that will only make them stronger " Derek said.

"how strong..?" and he grabbed two of them and handed one to Scott. "let's go." he said winking.
