chapter 11

{Scotts POV}

I was sitting on the couch waiting for Mariah and Aisling to come back from the corner store. some thing about aisling made my day.. she was incredibly beautiful , smart , and kind. then my ears interrupted me.

I could hear what sounded like a heart beat. I sounded like it was Mariahs . it kept growing louder and faster. until I heard a terrible shriek that made me cover my ears because it was like nails on a chawk board.

I ran out side to find what ever was making that sound.

"MARIAH.!" I screamed . I was confident that I would find her but not everyone is that certain.

I could see someone running towards me. I was getting ready to wolf up on them.

it was aisling.. she ran and hugged me like her life depended on it.

"where's Mariah.?" I asked looking behind her

she stood silent.

"where is mariah.?!" I said a little bit louder.

"duecalion took her" she said . sadness in her eyes.

"where did he take her.?"

"to the woods...."

I ran straight for the woods I didn't care for dying . I told her I was going to protect her and I am. aisling was right behind me.

we ran straight into Derek.

"did you hear that.?" Derek asked wide eyed.

"yeah.!!" me and Aisling said in unison .

"where are you two going."

"to go save Mariah."

I grabbed Aislings hand and I led her to the woods. but I didn't want to let go.

I could hear her heart beat. still fast and very loud.

I could hear walking behind me.. I turned around to see Allison Chris and Stiles.

"How did you know we were here .?"I asked curioisly

Chris pulled up his phone." I got a text from mariah. saying you two needed back up."

"how do you have her-?" I began to say

"Scott focus" aisling said while we walked into the woods.

Allison had her crossbow , Chris had a gun and stiles had a bat.

I kept Aisling behind me so that she wouldn't get hurt. we were still holding hands .

we were now in the dead center of the woods.

I could see mariah laying in a bed of leaves. we all ran up to her. Allison began to cry .

she was drenched with blood..... but there was a heart beat.

that sound was like music to my ears ..

"she's alive.!" I said to and Allison.

but I was engulfed in anger. I wanted duecalion dead.

"hello my niece." I heard from behind me.

"niece.?" I could see aisling turning into a werewolf. I was shocked.

" he's my uncle." she said bowing her head in shame

"so you tricked us." I was beginning to get even more angry .

"no.. I'm the good guy .... he's not." she said resting her hand on mine.

we both looked at him... ready to fight.

This blind man won't know what hit him.

boy was I wrong.

I lunged towards him getting ready to punch him. he grabbed my arm and threw me In the air . aisling ran and tried to claw but he kept dodging them. and with a move of his hand he slapped her to the floor.

Allison kept shooting arrows . but he caught every single one.

mariah was conscious now. and was standing on her two feet.

the only way to get away is if we make a distraction.

"she has to scream." Chris said." her scream is very powerful even the toughest wolf can't withstand it."

"Mariah . Scream." I shouted. she looked my way and let out a bone crushing scream which made us all fall to the floor even duecalion.

Since he was blind his other senses were more sensitive. so he took most of it.

after the scream mariah fell to the floor, unconscious again. Chris hurried and carried her bridal style to stiles jeep.

we were on our wat to deatons.
