chapter 10

(Mariahs POV)

I decided to go somewhere with my best friend..to get things off my mind.. and what better place to go to then the spa. to relieve some stress. my best friend aisling is going with me because I haven't seen her in a year.

"Ashh!!!!" I screamed like a little school girl.

"Mariahhh!!!" I didn't even let her get out of the car before I hugged her.

"I missed you so much" I said while squeezing her.

"I missed you more" she replied. she was in ireland for a year for school. she wanted to know more about her families heritage.

"you ready .?" she says breaking the hug.

"yeah..hold on " I ran to Scott and gave him a hug and said goodbye. he was taking put the trash . I could see him in the corner of my eye glancing at Aisling. I turned around and Scott was practically drooling over her .

"I see you two." I said loudly and they both grew bright red.

I got in the car and I winked at him, to let him know I'm his wing woman. he thanked me by smiling.

on our way to the spa we couldn't stop talking about what has happened in the past year between both of us. then it got silent.

"soo... I seen Scott looking at you." she smiled as I said that.

"so how's your love life..?" she asked not trying to talk about Scott.

"good.! so do you like him.?"

"what's his name.?" ignoring me once again.

"Chris.. now do you ...?" I was beginning to get annoyed.

"we're here." she said with a smirk and opening the car door.

"DAMN YOU!!" I screamed as she got out of the car.

we got checked in and the thought of me getting naked inside of a public place made me feel weird , but I deserved a break. so I did it anyways.

The sensation of fingers on my back was very soothing. I felt as if I was on top of clouds. Aisling was also getting a massage . After the massage we got facials .

I looked over at Aisling and she was eating the cucumbers and I started laughing and so did she. as we got facials we were treated to manicures . We stood silent until she spoke.

"I do." she said as I smiled in triumph.

****3 hours later ****

The spa didn't prepare me about what was going to happen next.

I was walking with aisling to the corner store to get some snacks. I seen the silhouette of a person walking in the opposite direction. He had sunglasses on .. he looked blind .

"hello ladies."he said as he walked by

"hello." I said trying to be polite.

"what .. you don't recognize me.?" he said causing the both of us to turn around .

aisling grabbed my arm and pulled me behind her.

"what's happening...?" I said.

"leave us alone.." Aisling said

I could see her changing into a creature but the only different thing is that she has bright blue eyes.

"Aisling .... that is no way to talk to your uncle" he said while taking off his sunglasses revealing deep blood red eyes.
