I loved you
Your eyes, your nose
Your lips and even pores too
I really loved you.
The hugs and kisses
The walks with secrets
The unplanned dates and cuddles
I can't ask for more.
Your smile, your scent
They still linger in the corners of my head
Your letters and surprises
They're safely hidden in my heart.
The tearful nights and endless fights
I loved them sincerely too
Because how can I not?
When you're everything that I've got?
I loved you
Everyday, I really do
Everyday despite all the pain
Everyday until the end of May.
I loved you too much, I really do
But I lost myself in the process of filling you
So I need to be free and rebuild myself
Please never forget how much I cared.
