To the one that got away, I thank you
For even when we're done you still come all the way through
Rushing to fetch me in just one call
Ditching her, letting her take the fall.
To the one that got away, I'm sorry
For the toxic me makes you worry
Because I made you feel like cheating
I'm sorry, I'll now stop it from happening.
Please know that I'm sincerely thankful
For all the years you made me feel beautiful
Supporting me in every choices
Shooing away those nasty voices.
I heard you're married, wow!
I hope you're happy now
I'm glad you have your new family
You're finally free from me.
My dearest love, I sincerely apologize
For it took me this long to realize
That what we had was love
Too late to know what more we could've have.
You're my one who got away, I hope you know that
Even when I'm the one who left, I blat
The regrets, the timing, the distance apart
In spite all you still have my heart.
