I wasn't sure where I was, in a cave of some sort. All I knew was the pain crashing over me like a tidal wave, it was all the memories and emotions of half a lifetime for a human and it was being pushed onto me all at once.

I let out a horrifying scream of pain, trying to release the tension inside my head, but all that happened was a shattering noise inside of my head and suddenly the wall was gone. Drako was back in my mind, and completely awake, he felt all my emotions and roared loudly in anger, I was surprised when I could both hear his roar through our bond and an echo of it outside the cave, it sent birds to the sky with great sounds of distress. I closed my eyes and opened them as Drako, I was seeing through his eyes and with a hard blink I was there, next to him, beside him, touching him, receiving comfort from him.

I climbed onto his back and he stood understanding we needed to leave, that this would be the first place Mordecai would look if he was smart, and we both knew he was extremely so. You can't be that evil and cunning if you don't have the smarts to engineer a mask of goodness that was believable.

As it turns out I was right and the new Ruler of the Cursed lands arrived mere seconds after Drako had taken flight, I heard his roar of rage and it made me laugh gleefully at his continuous failures. We flew far away from there, where he could never find us, I tried something that was simply a theory, something I was sure wouldn't work and would certainly result in our imminent deaths.

I channeled power to cause intense vibrations and I channeled it into the air in front of me, causing a rift between worlds, a portal. Where the blood of the Ruler of the Cursed lands couldn't possibly affect me, where I could be free of him, I traveled between worlds.

Into a different realm, the sky went from blue to purple, the clouds no longer white but a shining silver, I looked at the colorful trees that surrounded me and frowned. I had already been here before when I was doing my wand ceremony with the children of Magineara, I hadn't noticed but Drako's size was greatly diminished here, he was a small black Neit. No longer a large terrifying dragon, but a small miniature version that in the Eternal Forest we called a Neit.

I guess what was large in the Cursed realm, became miniature in pocket realms, what was small must then become big, and what was in between stayed the same. That must be why I didn't change height when I went into the pocket realms, I was after all only of average height, I turned to Drako and had to stifle a laugh, he was looking at a tree stump with enlarged eyes.

He flew on top of it and made his tiny paw slam down onto the stump, he looked down and then seemed to furrow his brow, he seemed very confused. As if he couldn't understand why the tree stump wasn't squashed beneath his feet, he turned to me confused, then his pupils narrowed into slits as he saw how much bigger I was to him.

He gave a snarl that sound absolutely adorable as it was slightly high pitched, like the whine of a dog. He roared fire and it spread only about twenty centimeters in front of him, he stopped and looked around, clearly expecting the world to be on fire around him like it would be if he was his original size, sadly the worst he got was some slightly singed grass blades that were fairly close to him.

He turned his eyes to me pleading, "What do you expect me to do? Snap my fingers and break the laws of this realm just so you can be the size of your ego again? No, you know what you can suck it up and find out how rabbits feel around you, you big oaf..... sorry I meant small oaf!" I say grinning at him  and bopping him on the nose, he snarls and chomps on my finger, thankfully his chomp was now downsized into a nip, "Oh, look you gave me a paper cut." I say snarkily to him, he whines and curls up in a ball, huffing out black smoke, essentially pouting.

"Let's go find out what's change here, it feels weird." I say and he looks at me out of the corner of his eyes, and I can just feel the figurative eyebrow raise "Okay, weirder! It feels darker as if something is killing this realm?" I say in a question unsure of myself. Drako huffs with irritation but flies up and lands on my shoulder and then curls up around my neck, I lift my wand and like it had a silent cue, the silver phoenix flies out and began to lead me.

We travel far and deep into the forest, it gets darker and eviler the further we go, a feeling of foreboding washes over me, when we enter into the dark part of the forest. The silver flamed bird leads me to where I first got my wand, except it's changed, different then it was before. The wall of rocks is gone and a cave with runes of gold etched into the walls lies in its place, I step forward and lay my hand on one of the runes and yelp back as an electric shock is transferred into my hand, I look into the darkness of the cave  and jump back with a shocked yelp as I see a face staring back at me "Hello, I believe I have something that belongs to you, my dear." Says a brown haired woman, she radiates power and when she opens her eyes they are a brilliant gold and I feel my body seize up in shock.

"Magineara?" I ask and then faint with the last image I see being the Naki flying straight at my face, now the size of an elephant.
