"You won't regret this, mistress. I promise you I would rather die then betray you again." Eric says, practically kissing my ass with servitude.
"Well remember I'm only giving you a second chance once, if you break your promise you're dead to me. Also keep in mind, that words make the promise, actions are what keep it, actions do speak louder then words. So show me your loyalty and help me find a way to kill Mordecai!" I snarl at him, emotionally tired and mentally unstable as of right now.
"You won't regret this, I promise-" Eric begins to rant on again and I whirl around enraged, I slap him hard across the face, in an effort to snap him out of whatever weak pathetic soul was replacing the correct Eric.
"I get it! Now start getting back to the useful Eric who could help me and not this pathetic version who just makes empty promises!" I say and he looks at me shocked "Now shut up or help me, I need to get some rest and food, I need to kill my father and I need to find all of the Cursed relics in order to kill our ancient god ancestors. I need you to be the arrogant prick who left me alone when there was a horde of angry dragons flying straight at me, not this pathetic excuse for a servant." I snarl just plain angry now, I take a deep breath and look him directly in the eyes "If you cannot be that Eric, tell me now. I will end your pain and feed you to Drako, I mean even if you die, you betrayed me and deserve a little pain and Drako is hungry, so two birds with one stone really." I say shrugging and looking at him with an expressionless face.
"Wow, you've changed as well, the Freya I knew never gave up and she sure as hell wouldn't end my pain of living just to be nice for once. I guess you really did turn into a hippie when you forgot about me" Eric says grinning widely, that familiar murderous twinkle back in his eyes. "It will take me a while, but I'll get back to normal, especially if your psychopathic father is in a deep torturous grave." He says flashing razor sharp teeth my way, as his eyes go pitch black with murderous intent.
"Actually, I think my aunt would like to have him, if you think I am scary mad, you should see her when she's angry. Uhhh!" I say shivering at the thought of her being angry at me for something.
"You have an aunt? I thought all your family was dead? What has happened? When did you get out of the Cursed forest? How are you even alive? Why didn't you get me sooner?" This last question is spoken in a heartbreaking whisper.
"I came to get you almost right after the Royal fights, it's only been a few days since then." I say to him answering the most important question first.
"A few days?" He says incredulously "I have been your fathers captive for over five months! I get the first two, as you didn't remember me but you were gone for three months! Your father is already deep into his reign of tyranny over this new world. I only had one companion, this old woman named Miranda, she says she was from the human world too." Eric says and I freeze in my strong strides, whirling around I clutch onto his arm harshly.
"Was her name Miranda Stevens?" I say desperately and he nods looking at me strangely.
"Yes, how did you know? What's so important about her anyway?" He asks sounding completely confused.
I slump down to my knees and clutch my hands to my face, as tears run down my face "Oh, he kept her, all this time! Why, why did he do this?" I wail loudly, surprising the calm wild life around us.
"What? What did he do?" Eric says desperately, looking at my tears with great dismay.
"He kept her, my mother" I whisper out in shock and his body goes rigid for a second before he relaxes it.
"But I thought your mother was dead?" He asks quietly and I chuckle with tears streaming down my face.
"She is, this is my human surrogate mother. My aunt is the guardian of the Cursed forest, my real mother's sister, they were goddesses in that pocket realm." I whisper out in a shocked emotionless voice.
"Wait, I'm confused what exactly did you find out in the Cursed forest?" He asks and I chuckle at his words.
"Just let me show you, I'm too tired to talk" I say and then without further adieu, I bring his face forward and smash our lips together, transferring my memories through that single kiss, they pour out of me like white smoke, I release him when it was done and Eric sits there dazed.
"Wow" He says and I nod to his exclamation.
"I know a rough time right." I say and he looks at me confused.
"I was talking about the kiss, why did you do that?" He asks and I smirk at him, I drag a finger lightly over his lips and he leans into my touch.
"Well I could've done it differently, but I always wondered what it would be like to kiss you and what's so fun about doing it the boring way. Besides now I know what it's like to kiss you. I have to say it wasn't very good, to be honest I thought you were hotter when you were all evil and bad boy, trying to kill me. Everybody likes the bad boys, Eric and it seems you're just not that anymore." I say and he looks at me with shocked eyes.
"Wasn't very good?! I'll show you bad boy!" He snarls his face angry and with that he tackles me to the ground, straddling my waist and smashes his lips onto mine. I kiss back with equal ferocity and he trails down to my neck, nipping harshly, he draws blood with his sharp teeth and when he licks it up I feel my veins become alight, right when I'm about to push him over and be on top because lets face it I'm more dominant, a flash of the stranger at the Royal fight rushes into my head and I shove Eric off abruptly.
"We shouldn't do this, we have work to do. Maybe after my fathers dead we can discuss something" I say and then stand up and walk off needing sometime to myself, leaving Eric panting and shocked on the ground.
