Ch. 6: Blood on Her Hands.

(Y//n) stood alone in the sand.

Anti was gone, and (she/he) was in an unfamiliar city all by themselves.

"Fuck.." was the only word (she/he) could articulate.

(Y/n) couldn't stay there any longer. There was no telling who could be wondering the beach, or even worse WHAT could be wondering the beach. The boardwalk was only a short jog away. The lights from the restaurants and shops gave (her/him) hope. (She/he) was dripping wet and had many heads turned in (her/his) direction.

"Okay, (Y/n), you just need to find a cab, or a map, or-" (She/he) spoke to themselves trying to calm down.

"She's not here!" Dark tossed a glass vase onto (Y/n)'s floor.

He had gone to (her/his) house in hopes of finding them only to find it completely empty. Mark could only sit back in his mind and watch as the tantrum continued.

"I-I don't think (she/he)'d be here if they knew we were coming.."

Dark regained his composure, and fixed his suit. "Very well. I guess it is my fault for not thinking ahead of time."

"What now?"

"We find (her/him)."

"(She/he) could be anywhere right now. Do you think Anti or Sean told (her/him) about the pure heart?"

"He likely told (her/him) the moment he realized what was going on."

Dark began to look around her house, picking up random items to observe them. He admired (Y/n)'s taste in decor, and appreciated their oil paintings hung about the walls. He wondered to himself if (she/he) had painted them.

After looking in silence for a few minutes he saw paper thrown about on the kitchen counter. He believed that some of these may have held clues to where (she/he) was hiding. Most of the papers were receipt's from various stores.

He smirked.

He knew.

"Tell me, Mark. What seems off about these receipt's?"

Mark hesitated before answering. "The dates are all the same?"

"And what else?"

"They're all form different stores. I don't know, Dark. What are you trying to get at?"

Dark moved the papers and many more onto the island counter under the light. "You see, Mark. All of these are from the same day. Do you see what (she/he) bought?"

Mark began to read aloud. "Tampons, Tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, a neck pillow, a blanket? (She/he) just sounds like (she/he) made a big shopping trip."

"A fairly large shopping trip, for items (she/he) should already own." Dark placed down the paper and picked up the mail. "This mail is from Monday, and this from Tuesday. Why wouldn't she open it once it arrived."

"Dark, whats under the banana stand."

He slid over the silver stand and pulled out a wrinkled paper from under it. It was a shopping list titled 'Travel Items'.

"Looks like (Y/n) decided to take a last minute vacation, just as I believed." Dark folded the paper and tossed it onto the counter. "If I'm correct (she/he) most likely went with Sean."
