(Charlie is the first to make contact with the demon kind since Dark had surfaced with the others. As the ambassador she decides to go after Die, or "Mors", who isn't the king but works very close to the king. Dark decides this is a good idea until things go sour)

"I'm tired of being ignored!" Die cried out.

He hovered over Charlie, tears streaming down his face.

"I gave you everything!" He continued.

She didn't know what to say, "Die, I promise I didn't forget you! You're fine."

"Liar!" He tossed a blue wave of flame down towards her.

She braced for impact, though as a human she'd receive burns beyond scarring. To her surprise though she didn't get hurt. Nothing hit her. Her eyes opened up to see Dark standing in front of her, clothing now burnt.

"Are you alright Dear Charlie?"

"Dark? I thought you left?"

"How could I leave such a dear friend of mine?"

Die landed on a large piece of debris from a collapsed building. "And here returns the king!"

Dark turned towards him, "I returned to stop you. You're acting foolish, Die. Why are you trying to hurt the one you care so dearly about?"

"Why would I care for a tramp who merely used me to get what she wants?" Die hissed.

"You are blinded by ignorance, as was I." Dark then turned to Charlie, "Does he know?"

"No.. he doesn't.. I haven't — I haven't been able to talk to him about it.." She held her arm.

A blast of energy hit Dark's back, knocking him over.

"Dark!" She cried out.

Darkness was consuming Die's soul. Demon's were bad sure, but when darkness took over their soul they return to their feral form, one that can't be negotiated with. One that will destroy anything in its path until it's stopped. The only way to stop a darkened soul is to kill the creature.

Black had already consumed most of Die's body. Spider veins began running to his wrists and up his neck, the only visible parts.

"I can't let this darkness get to you, I won't let it get to you!" She cried out.

"Stop talking!" Another wave of energy was sent her way, but Dark blocked that one as well.

This sent Die into further madness. The dark crept up his face consuming a third of it. He jumped in the air than landed at Dark, taking him by the neck and forcing him to the ground. "You don't know when to give up do you?" He slammed the king's head into the ground.

"Stop!" Charlie cried out. "Stop Die please!"

"You had your time to beg." The darkness had now taken at least half his face. "You're a pathetic excuse for a human, an ambassador, a friend, a lover. I'm not surprised no one loved you, all abandoned you." He smirked. "I'll take care of you first."

Die dropped Dark and began walking towards the woman he once loved. "No more worries, no more pain. Only darkness."

She backed away from him, "D-Don't!"

"Don't what?" He extended his claws on his now blackened hand.

Charlie found herself in a corner of debris. Her right and left side were nothing but bent metal and rocks. The one she loved was going to kill her.

"I'll be slightly merciful. I was going to torture you for year and years, but instead, I'll make your death slow and painful.

Die lifted up his hand and came down upon her with it. The attack didn't hit her.
