Concept:(Y/n) chose Die over Dark. Die is currently ruling the world while Dark tries (but is not doing so well) to study (Y/n). Who'd rather spend her time with Die. Die though has been putting his time with her aside due to his duties.
Setting: Dark's office.
"Are you even listening to me?!" (Y/n) shouted.
It seemed as though her words were going in one ear and out the other. Die rubbed his temples, annoyed with the fact she wouldn't leave him alone.
"Can you leave, please? We'll talk about this later, alright?"
"That's all you ever tell me, later this, later that. When is later? Remember I'll die someday."
He looked up at her, his hands laying on the desk, "You'll die someday? Is that the best you have? (Y/n) you have my attention there's no need to be so dramatic."
"It's not dramatic its —"
He raised a brow at her.
"Okay, it's dramatic..." She held her arm.Die sighed and stood up from the chair ruffling his hair. "Why do you care so much about my absence? You have Anti and Dark to keep you entertained."
"That's not the point. It never was. They aren't you..." (Y/n) looked away.
"Not me?"
"You saved my life. You're the only one who was nice to me that night we met. We connected and it was just —"
"Lovely?"
"Different."
He paused, "Different in what way?"
She began taking steps backwards. "I think I'm going to leave before I embarrass myself any further. I'm sorry. You can get back to work."
As she reached for the handle he appeared in front of her.
"No no no, you've got my attention. I owe you the attention."
He gently turned her around and lead her to the chair in front of his desk. He then took off his suit coat tossing it on the chair next to her then leaned against the wood arms crossed. He was ready to hear her, but now she wasn't sure if she wanted to be heard.
"Now, what type of different do you mean?"
"How do I — Okay, so I've been here a while and I can call all three of you my friends, even the edge lord."
"I'd say that's appropriate at this point. Denying it will only prove it further."
"So that means I care about all three of you, but you..." She laughed with a short breath from her nose, "you, I care about differently. More."
"More than Dark and Anti?"
"You're not following" She dragged her hands down her face. "I'm literally embarrassing myself."
Die felt bad. (Y/n) was accustomed to all human emotions yet he had tried to isolate himself from those emotions for years. He couldn't read her the way she read other people. He couldn't read anyone. But as he knew her new emotions did arise, he just didn't know what to make of them.
He let out a breath then bent down towards her, holding his balance on his toes. He reached out to her wrists and moved them from her face which was now bright pink.
"You have to forgive me you know, I don't understand these emotions. You have to be direct with me. As direct as possible."
"The most human way?"
"I'm begging you, I want to understand what you're feeling."
"Well, huh, a lot of stuff right now."
He stared at her for a few moments, "Show me, please."
(Y/n) hesitated then moved her hands just under his ears, her thumbs resting on his cheeks. He patiently, yet curiously waited, not letting go of her wrists. She then moved towards his mouth, connecting their lips in a moment of pure bliss.
While her eyes were shut, his were wide open with shock. But also, embarrassment. He knew what this was, Felix had done it many times before, but he himself had never done so. He could feel the love from her move into himself, a feeling he couldn't understand until now. His eyes slowly closed and he relaxed into the kiss. Only moments later she pulled away.
"What am I doing?! I — I shouldn't have — that was — that was really disrespectful.. I'm sorry." She pushed back her seat, jumped up and rushed towards the door.
Die grabbed her wrist barely standing up. As he gained his balance he walked closer to her. "No, no, please! Please don't go."
"I have to — I just — "
"Is that what you've been feeling?"
"...yes.."
He while holding onto her hand he walked toe to toe with an unreadable expression on his face. "Can I show you?"
"Show me what?"
Die gently placed both hands on her face and kissed her slowly and delicately. His breath lightly hitting her lips before connecting them. She could feel him shake, nervous of his own actions. After a few moments, he pulled away.
"I'm... not very good at this."
"Well, if you're alright with it, I can teach you?" She smirked.
