Chapter 21
Just Like The Old Times
HONGSEOK

Kino pushed the curtains aside and opened the windows to let fresh air come inside. Wooseok and Shinwon pulled me out of bed and pushed me towards the bathroom. Changgu started cleaning up my room a little after blasting upbeat music. The party is here. In my room. It had started.

Wooseok threw me a towel. "Bathe yourself. You stink!"

"Yah!" I yelled but he immediately closed the door.

Feeling the cold water against my skin was both startling and refreshing. I took my time bathing and when I went back to my room, it looked cleaner and also, it's empty. Where did they go?

I got dressed and looked for them in the house until I spotted them in Seonho's room, laughing and chatting with him. For the first time in what felt so long, a smile crept on my face. "What's this fuss?" I asked, coming inside.

"Wow, we thought you won't ever come out of the bathroom." Shinwon said.

"That's worth a week of not bathing." Wooseok said, smirking.

"That's not true!" I said defensively.

"So, Seonho, you'll be good, right? We'll borrow your brother for today." Changgu said.

I rolled my eyes.

Seonho smiled. "Of course, do take him away. He's always glued to the chair beside me anyway!"

Before I and my friends leave, I asked the nurse to watch Seonho carefully and to tell my parents that I'll be back by tonight.

HYUNJOO

I squinted through the sunlight and fell off the couch to the carpet of Sorin's familiar living room. My headache was so intense and my throat was so dry. I tried to get up, avoiding to step on Sorin who was sleeping on the floor, but I felt dizzy. I rushed to the fridge and drank up a glass of water that only made my stomach sick, so I ran to the toilet and threw up.

Sorin soon came after me and we both looked at each other miserably. She pulled me to the kitchen and she boiled some water and made us coffee.

I pushed my hands to my head. "Ugh," I groaned. "Feels like my head is being pulled apart!"

Sorin chuckled, "Welcome to drinking world."

"I can't believe you convinced me to drink that much!"

"Once you start, you can't stop. And I believe your heart has something to do with it."

She poured instant ramen down the water. "That's not even boiling yet." I told her.

She brought a cup of coffee to me. "Luckily, I'm off today. How about sleeping the whole day and ditching everything else?"

I nodded. "I'm gonna text my mom."

"Alright, momma's girl."

I glared at her before drinking the coffee. We ate the instant ramen together and I tried not to be sick in the stomach again. The headache was still there. Sorin let me have the guestroom and I climbed on bed where Hongseok once slept. I tried not to think about himㅡbut it's so hard. Even hangover can't erase him.

I slept on my headacheㅡand when I woke up, it's afternoon.
