Kids in Love

Chapter two

Finally lunch hour, me and Amber walked to our #1 place to go to in town, (Chucheria) since we are in grade 12 we are allowed to go out for lunch. Lea and Kate were meeting us there and they wanted every single detail about Minho. On our way, we were listening to BTS while Amber was making her badass Kpop moves. After 4 songs, we were finally there, the smell of cappuccino and steaming burgers lured us in. Lea shouted at us saying she was on the verge of starvation (typical) Kate was in pain because of the braces so she wasn't even hungry. We went to our customized booth, right under the AC. I was thrilled cause I wanted them to know everything. Out of the blue Minho pops in, we all froze. Surprisingly he waves at us and we of course waved back amazed he was there. He was alone but somehow he looked at our table a few times. We decided one of us ought to approach his table and invite him to eat lunch with us. Kate volunteered and he agreed with our proposal. The minute he sat next to us, Amber had her puppy dog eye's, Lea had her hopeful smile, Kate had her gleaming look and well my persuading gaze disappeared and I blushed for like 2 minutes. There was no awkward silence, Kate started asking him if he liked school. He then replies saying that he's homesick. "Too late to say that" Lea chuckles at him, and frowns. Amber immediately opens her eyes at me, and I nod and sigh. I then asked if he had a girlfriend (classic) but he says he's not taken, but that dating is not an issue for him, (overconfident much?) Amber clears her throats and I roll my eyes. 5 min later our food is ready. I had a chocolate shake and a strawberry cheesecake. Amber had pizza, Kate had an apple juice, Lea had a double bacon cheeseburger with a chocolate shake and lemon pie with two big scoops of ice cream. He was only drinking iced tea, I'm yanked forward sharply. We only had an hour, so we payed and walked to school, but this time he tagged along. Somehow Lea wasn't feeling okay.

Minho asks, what happened to her?

"Double bacon cheeseburger" I reply. Lea is a big foodie, so there was no way she could stay away from food even if it was unhygienic.

"Tongue got your stomach" I reply sardonically.

"Go to hell" it's your entire fault I'm like this, Lea groaned and then she sticks out her tongue.

"We gotta get to school, Amber and Kate say in unison.

Amber, Lea and Kate walked ahead of me and Minho. I fell into step beside him. Blushing all the time. I was trying to control it but it was pointless. He then plucked out his phone from his pocket and tells me to listen to a song, I nodded in agreement, I wanted to know what he liked, his favorite band, his favorite scents, his religious views, what keeps him up at night, I wanted to know everything. The song was "A sky full of stars" by Coldplay. Apparently we did have something in common and it was indeed a place to start.

I never intended to publish chapter two but I got inspired and couldn't help it.. hope y'all like it.. and vote and comment.
