Chapter 1

Chapter 1 -The Island
A man called Steve woke up in a small boat....groaning, as he stood up to look at the horizon. Steve's been on sea for a few months now and he still can't find land.A few days ago Steve's food supply ran out and now he's been starving ever since. Today was the day that Steve thought he would find an island. As the hours went by Steve started to lose hope. It was the afternoon and the sun was setting. Steve looked at the sunset and thought how beautiful it was. He had nowhere else to go so he decided to travel to the direction where the sun was. A few moments later Steve could see dirt. "Dirt?" Steve thought to himself, "Dirt? Dirt means land and land means food and animals!" It was the moment he'd been waiting for. His prediction was right after all. He was so excited that he ran and he tripped.....Unfortunately he was badly injured. He was the only one on the island so there were no hospitals, doctors and nurses. Steve later realised that he had to manage all by himself....
