Chapter 10

Chapter 10 -Could it be?

The next day, Steve asked the villagers for water and they simply gave him some from the well. Steve was so excited to make obsidian with the water and lava that he had! But before he could turn it into obsidian, he had second thoughts and put the water in the chest instead. He took all his tools and went back to the mineshaft and mined. Minutes had passed and he still found nothing bit coal and iron. Steve was hoping to find something really valuable this time. Before he knew it, he was starving. Luckily he brought some cooked fish with him. Steve was so hungry he ate 7! He was full so he took a rest for a few minutes..As he laid down on the floor he fell asleep! When he woke up there was a skeleton right from of him aiming at his face! As quick as a cheetah he dodged just before the arrow hit him! He grabbed his iron sword that he made while he was back in his house and hit the skeleton until it died. Steve got hit a few times too so he ate again. Now that he was full of energy he went mining again. Steve had broken five pick axes now so he made another one. As the hours went by he obtained iron, coal, red stone and gold. His sixth pick axe was nearly breaking and as he mined one more stone he found lapis lazuli! That brought a smile to Steve's face! So he mined it and put it in his inventory. Steve nearly had all the minerals and his inventory was nearly full. Then his pickaxe broke! He had no more stone and sticks so he couldn't make another one. So he used iron pickaxe. Minutes went by and his iron pickaxe was half way to breaking. But he didn't lose hope. He kept mining and mining. As Steve dug another block of stone he saw something shining, something blue...."Could it be?" Steve wondered. He looked closer and it was D-DIAMONDS! The time had come! Steve was so happy he danced! Another good thing was that his iron pickaxe wasn't broken yet! As he tried to mine the diamond his hand were trembling with excitement. When he had the courage he mined it! He got 6 diamonds! "YES!!" Steve shouted. When he looked back there was a CREEPER! Steve was so happy he was about to hug the creeper! As the creeper was about to explode he realised that creepers were DANGEROUS! Just in time he jumped down as the creeper exploded! Luckily it wasn't a very long fall so he was safe and sound. Then his tummy started grumbling so loud that at first he thought it was some kind of monster groaning! He then took some food out of his inventory and ate it. As he got of the mineshaft it was night time! He ran to his house in the village, put his stuff in his chest and happily slept!
