Chapter 13

Chapter 13- Nether?

The next day, Steve was talking to villagers of something the villagers read about in a book. The villagers said it was called the nether.It had lava and unusual monsters. They also heard from a rumour that it was not in this earth.

Steve was so excited! Though the villagers warned him that it was very dangerous. But that didn't stop Steve. He then planned to go to the Nether tomorrow. Though there was one problem....he didn't know how to get there! So he borrowed the book from the villagers and looked how he could get to the nether. He kept flipping pages but he had no luck! Then he remembered that the villagers said it was not in this earth.Maybe it was underground? So he decided to mining. But the villager stopped him. "Take this book, it'll help you.", the villager said. Steve thanked him and continued heading for his mining place. As Steve was walking he read the book again to see if it would actually help him. In the middle of the book he saw a page that was ripped! On the page, it said how to get to the nether! But the last word was ripped out! "To get to the nether you will need-....." Steve read. He had to find out what it was! Below, there was a picture of a strange looking black stone. Maybe that was thing he needed to get to the nether! Steve rushed back to the village and ask the villager if they knew this strange looking stone. "Obsidian!", shouted the villager. "Obsidian?" asked the other villagers. It was obsidian! Steve had no idea what that was but he was still excited! He asked the villager how to make the obsidian. The villager told him that he needed to mix water and lava."Water and lava?",replied Steve. "Yes.", the villager answered. Steve then rushed to his house, got his buckets with water and lava and went outside.
