Chapter 9

Chapter 9 -The Mineshaft!

It has been 5 hours now so Steve decided to go back up. He'd almost forgot how the land and the sky looked like! So he breathed into some fresh air. He then went back to village and slept........It was morning now so he decided to continue mining. This time he decided he wanted to mine near a lake, and so he did. As he got lower it was getting darker so he placed some torches. When he mined a few blocks of stone, he suddenly fell into a strange place. It was an abandoned mineshaft! Steve looked around and saw fences and torches all around! He didn't know where he was supposed to go so he just went straight.Then left,right,left, straight, right until finally he saw a lava fall! As he looked down he saw gold and emeralds! Steve then made a furnace and made iron ingots. Then Steve got some sticks and made an iron pickaxe!After that he carefully went down and mined the emerald and gold. When he got the minerals he looked back and the lava was right in front of him! He stepped back, placed his crafting table and made some iron buckets. Steve then scooped the lava and went back up. Now that he had got the lava, he kept searching for minerals. He found coal,red stone and even more gold! So he mined them with his pickaxe. By the time he had tons of minerals and lava, Steve headed back home. When he got home, Steve opened his chest and put all his valuable stuff. While he was putting some stuff in the chest, he also took some food. Steve was so hungry and tired, he could barely run! So he ate tons of food and stuffed himself. Half an hour later Steve looked outside to see if there were any monsters nearby. There were none, so Steve decided to go to sleep. At the middle of the night, Steve woke up. He wanted to get some water in the well while the villagers weren't looking. "All the villagers must be asleep by now", he whispered. But then Steve heard some zombies groaning. Maybe this isn't the right time to get water. Steve thought to himself. So he quickly went back home and slept.
