Chapter 2: Home sweet home

Lilly's POV:

Michael came gave me a big hug and rocked me from one side to the other.

“You’ve got blue hair!” was all I could say. I stood back and admired the blue.

“Yup. Like it?”

“It suits you!”

“Where is my English girl?” I heard a voice behind Michael say and he stud aside to reveal smiling Calum.

He stuck out his hand at me and we did our best buddy handshake, which we learned when we were small kids. Luke and I practically grew up together with Calum since his Mum and our Mum are best friends. So he’s like a fourth brother to me.

After we had done our handshake he gave me a big hug.

“You smell good!”

“Haha thanks.” I said pulling up an eyebrow. I didn’t really know what smelt good about me since I hadn’t put any perfume on since I left England.

“How was England?” Michael said pulling me into the living room that was filled up with balloons and a “Surprise”-Banner. I plonked myself on the couch and Calum and Michael sat on each side of me looking at me questioning.

“Guys calm down! She has only just arrived home from a long flight.” Luke said shaking he’s head grinning.

“Sorry Lilly.” Michael looked down at his shoes trying to look sorry.

“We shall be your servants for tonight!” Calum suggested.

I burst out laughing.

“I didn’t mean it in a sexual way.” He chuckled. “I meant like getting you a drink or giving you a massage.”

“I’m quite hungry to be honest.” My tummy rumbled when I mentioned the word hungry.

“Ash will be here with the pizza soon.” Luke said coming out of the kitchen and handing me a coke.

“Ash?” I pulled up my eyebrow.

“Oh yeah. Ashton, our drummer.” Michael said.

“You’ll get to know him.” Calum said.

“Ohhh. Are you guys still doing this useless band thingy and putting up videos?” I said trying to wind them up.

“It’s not useless. We got signed!” Michael protested.

“You what?” I sat up straight.

“Mike!” Luke and Calum said at the same time.

Michael covered his mouth with both hands.

“That was supposed to be a surprise! Forgotten?!” Luke protested.

“You seriously got signed?” I looked at Luke.

“Yup!” he said plopping the “P”.

“Wow. Congratulations. And I thought you were just one of those hobby garage bands.”

“Well. Not anymore!” Calum smiled.

“It’s so funny how Luke just met the producer on the public toilet randomly after we had been busking on the street.” Michael laughed.

Mentioning the word toilette I just noticed how badly I had to go.

“I’ve got to go to the bathroom.” I said standing up quickly.

I slipped across the tiles in my socks like I used to do and ran around the corner.

*BASH*

Pizza boxes flew through the air and I fell on to my bum.When I looked up I saw a brown haired boy sitting opposite form me pizza boxes spread around him.

“Sorry!” he said.

“It’s okay. I guess it was my fault too.” I said getting on my knees and helping him to get all the boxes together.

“Did I hear Ash?” Calum came rushing around the corner followed by Michael.

“PIZZA!” they both shouted and ripped the boxes out of Ashton’s hands disappearing in to the living room again.

“Seems like they’re hungry!” he said grinning. “I’m Ashton by the way but all my friend call me Ash.” He helped me to get up.

“So do I count to your friends?” realising what I just actually said I could have wacked myself.

“I guess so…” He said smiling and sowing of his dimples. “You must be Lilly…Am I right?”

Just then Luke came around the corner.

“Oh so I see you’ve already got to know each other!”

“Yeah!” Ashton replied smiling at me.

“You guys better come and eat before the other two eat up all the pizza!”

We went into the living room and sat down to eat pizza.

“Who is up for a movie?” Calum asked.

“ME!” everyone shouted.

“Lilly! You pick!” Calum said.

“Mhm…the Notebook!”

“Nooo…” the guys protested.

“Just joking. Let’s watch Ironman.”
