Lilly’s POV:

Melanie was waiting patiently at the end of our garden path.

“Hello there…you’re late.” She gave Luke and me a quick hug and we were off to pick up the others.

First we picked up Calum. He was wearing a black beanie and a batman shirt…typical Calum. After short hellos we were off to our next stop: Michael’s. He had actually dyed his hair pink now and he looked like a my little pony.

Melanie greeted him with a kiss and complimented his new hair colour.

10 Minutes later we arrived at the huge school building.

“Don’t you guys pick up Ashton too?” I asked nobody specific.

“He’s already graduated.” Michael answered.

“Oh wow. I didn’t know…”

Ashton did look a little bit older than the other boys but I thought that they were in the same grade…

“At 12.15 in the cafeteria?” Luke asked.

We all nodded and then our ways split.

“I’ve got EP first and then maths.” Melanie told me.

“And I have art first and then maths.” I said looking at my time table.

“So then see you at maths.” She said and then walked away.

“See you.”

I wanted to go to my locker first to leave some books in there. Luke had got me the books that I needed last week so I wouldn’t have to get them today.

It was a bit of a challenge to find my locker since I hadn’t been here for a while and most of the lockers looked the same. When I eventually found it I luckily remembered my pin. I opened it to find some old pictures stuck to the inside of the door. I had to grin when I saw the one of Melanie and I soaked after a water fight or Calum and I with drawn on moustaches. I put the books inside the locker that I wouldn’t need in my morning lessons and closed it again. I turned around and bumped into someone letting my books fall to the floor.

“Sorry!” I apologized.

“It’s okay.”

I looked up and saw a boy crouching in front of me. His blue eyes sparkled blue like the sea and his blond surfer hair fell perfectly into his face. My heart beat stopped for a minute.

“Oh hey Lilly.” He said and a big smile spread on his face showing off his perfect white teeth.

“Josh…Hi.”

Our hands touched when we both tried to pick up the book and it was as if a lightning had struck had gone through my body.

Eventually I took the heavy book and Josh reached out his hand to help me up.

“I didn’t know you were back…” he said wiping the dust of his shorts.

“Well…now you know…”

“It’s good to see you.” He said giving me one of those beautiful smiles again.

“Yeah…” I wanted to say something but I couldn’t think of anything…I could have smacked myself. I was just standing there like a little 13 year old that doesn’t know how to handle boys.

“…It’s nice to see you too.” I added after a short brake.

“Wow. You’ve got a British accent.”

I smiled down to the floor trying not to blush.

“Oh. I’m sorry. You’ve probably heard that quite a few times since you’re back.” He said and I nodded.

“Where do you have to be first?” he asked me.

“Art.”

“Perfect. Same for me.”

OMG…Art with Josh…I hope I wouldn’t do anything embarrassing…

I wanted to post the next chapter but it won't work because there's a lock next to "published". Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?
