Right after Dakota told the 501st about Fives' and Tup's deaths.
Dakota P.O.V.
Dakota had just left the courtyard after telling the 501st about Fives and Tup. Most of the men couldn't believe it, Fives tried to kill the chancellor, some of them didn't believe it including Jesse. He had a pain in my chest, not because he was hurt, he was sad, how many more men does the 501st have to lose before this war ends? They lost a lot of men on christophsis, then the 501st lost hundreds of good troops on that hellhole that's called Geonosis, then Echo died at the citadel, then the 501st had been massacred on umbara because of the traitor Pong Krell, they lost a lot of good men on Umbara including one of my best men, Hardcase, and then Ahsoka left, now Fives and Tup were dead.
As Dakota was walking away from the courtyard, he saw Rex, Dakota ran up to him and said, "I can't believe Fives had tried to kill the chancellor!", Rex than said," I don't believe it.", then he walked off without saying another word, Dakota tried to follow him but he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around to see general Skywalker. He said," Give Rex some time, he'll eventually come around to talking.", then he walked off. As he walked away, Dakota was thinking, didn't he say Fives had said something about chips in the brains of every clone? He decided it was time to investigate this chip.
