Time: Next evening after Dakota talked to Kix.
Dakota P.O.V.
Dakota knew the only way to find out more about these chips was to go to Kamino. After his conversation with Kix last night, Dakota snuck into the place where the chancellor's personal doctor studied Fives' and Tup's chips. It wasn't easy, he nearly got caught. After he got the chips, Dakota went back to his and Rex's quarters and wrote a note saying he would be at home on Earth, when in truth, he would be going to Kamino. Dakota had grabbed his dc-15 carbine and his dc-15 rifle, just in case he wanted to do a training simulation and in case if the investigation got ugly. As he headed to the military base hangar, Dakota saw some of commander Bly's men getting off a gunship, he then remembered the 327th had just won a large battle on the planet Jedha. As Bly and his men got off the gunship, he hid in the cockpit of a y-wing bomber, hoping to avoid being seen by Bly and his men, if they saw him, Dakota would have to explain why I was in the cockpit of a y-wing bomber at 2:00 am or 0200 hours.
As Dakota sat in the cockpit waiting, Bly and his men and the gunship pilots all started heading towards the barracks, he breathed a sigh of relief, that was close. After Bly and his men left, Dakota jumped out of the bomber and started heading towards his modified arc-170 fighter.
When Dakota learned how to fly, he was excited to be able to fight in space battles. He liked the arc-170 but didn't want to take the chance that if he got shot down, he'd take 2 other clones and an astromech with him, so he made the fighter shorter, got rid of the astromech slot and 2 other cockpits. After Dakota got my blasters and the chips in the fighter, he climbed in and put his 501st clone pilot helmet on. He started my fighter up and flew away from the base. Dakota saw the city lights of Coruscant get smaller as he flew into space. Once Dakota got into space, he set the coordinates for Kamino and engaged hyperdrive. He sat back and relaxed as he saw the stars become star lines and jumped to hyperspace heading towards Kamino.
