Getting the Message

Time: 1 hour After Fives' death.
Place: officer's quarters on the Republic military base on Coruscant

Dakota P.O.V

Dakota was checking his dc-15 carbine when his holoprojector started beeping, as he got up to answer, he expected it to be Rex, his best friend and brother figure. Dakota's 15 years old, from the planet earth and was a Jedi master and member of the Jedi high council and clone commander of the 501st clone legion. He was chosen to be part of an experimental trial to train Jedi to also inhibit their force powers to fight as clones but the Senate voted against continuing it, so he's the only one like he is. He may not be a clone but the clones are his brothers no matter what. He had been waiting to hear from Rex because he had been on a Jedi mission with his padawan Michael Contory and his clone unit under his command, the Rancor Battalion. After he had gotten back, he heard about one of his men of the 501st, Tup had shot and killed fellow jedi master Tiplar. He then heard Tup died on Kamino and he couldn't believe it. Then he heard Fives attempted to murder the chancellor and was being hunted by Rex, General Skywalker, and Commander Fox and the shock troopers. So he was waiting to hear from Rex to see if they found Fives.

When he turned the holoprojector on, he saw Rex, and Rex looked extremely sad, he said "Hey Rex did you all find Fives?" He didn't answer, Dakota asked, " Rex is something wrong?" In the background he heard General Skywalker say, "Here Rex I'll tell him." Dakota asked,"Sir what happened, did you find Fives?" He said," Fives had ran into Kix at 79's and told him to send Rex and I there to talk to him, when we got there he had us put our weapons on a crate, when we did, he trapped us in rayshield, we tried to get him to turn it off, he said he would if we listened to him, so we did, he started saying that the clones had chips in their brains that would make them do whatever they were told to even kill jedi we told him we would take him to check the chips but he though we didn't believe him, then Fox and his men showed up and tried to get Fives to surrender, but he freaked out and grabbed one of Rex's pistols and Fox shot him, he died in Rex's arms as Fox and two men went to get a medic, by the time it got back it was too late, Dakota, Fives is dead ".

Dakota couldn't believe what he was hearing, Fives had been the last surviving member of Domino Squad, Droidbait had been killed by commando droids, Cutup had been eaten by a Rishi Moon Eel, Hevy blew up the Rishi Moon base while he was inside to save Kamino, Echo had been killed at the citadel on Lola Sayu by a droid cannon, and now Fives was dead, all of Domino Squad was dead. Dakota was now worried, how was he going to tell the rest of the 501st?
