A Disagreement

We arrived at the studio just in time, Violetta was upset that she had class straight away as I still had not give her an answer for the big baby question but I promised her that I would think it over and tell her this evening, which at least made her happy.

I walked straight into the teachers lounge to find everyone there in an argument. Antonio was arguing with Gregorio, Gregorio was arguing with Pablo and Pablo was fighting back. Beto tried to help by adding in things to try to improve the situation but seemed to fail, so when he saw me he was happy to step aside and speak to me instead.

"Morning Angie! How are things?"

"Everything is great Beto. But tell me, how did we have an argument begin on the first day of the year? And how long have they been fighting?" I ask looking at Gregorio as he claps his hands slowly, probably being sarcastic.

"I'm not sure how long they have been fighting, they started before I arrived but I have been in here a good twenty minutes. I think it's something about the directors position. Antonio hasn't selected which one of them should be in charge. He says it will only be his decision and that he will decide this week who is more worthy of the position. Until then Antonio is in charge." He said glancing back at the bickering bunch.

"How did that begin an argument, shouldn't they be trying to seem the best? Arguing won't do any good!"  I reply, my gaze still fixated on them all.

"Well Gregorio was going crazy screaming that it was his position and Pablo lost it because he was incompetent and so why should he gain it again. When Antonio pointed out that Gregorio was more like a tyrannical dictator then a headmaster he wasn't to please and blamed in on Pablo." Beto shrugged as he finished "Who knows anymore?"

I shrugged and watched the bunch for a while longer before deciding I didn't need a head ache so early in the morning. So left my bag on one of the hooks and grabbed my music folder from my box and headed towards my classroom.

First and Second lesson was with Violetta's year. They were separated into smaller groups to make things easier. We call them 'sides' of the year and they are always split in the same groups so everyone knows people in the class. First lesson I have the other side and then I have Vilu's side of the year second. Admittedly I prefer Vilu's side and am a lot closer with those students but I'm not supposed to have favourites so I treat the others the same. They are quite a polite and talented bunch so maybe I should pay more attention to them.

Who knows. Maybe they'll go somewhere.
