Slumber was about to take over me when I heard a knock on the door.

"Oh, not again, Zac. I'm about to sleep now." and I hide my whole body in the blanket.

"Katherine?"

that familiar voice washed out my sleepiness.

"Katherine? Can we talk, please?"

Am I dreaming? Am I really hearing Adam's voice?

My questions were answered when I opened the door and saw a guy standing infront of me. A familiar face, Adam's face.

"A-adam? What... what are you d-doing here?" I asked with my eyes wide open.

What is he trying to do now, hurt me again? I've been through a lot of heartaches. Is hurting me once isn't enough for him?

Well, I'm done! Trying to slam the door shut on his face didn't succeed. Because of his huge and muscular built he just put his arm between the door and it's frame.

"Katherine, can you just please let me talk to you? Let me explain everything to you." he said with so much pleading in his voice.

"Please Adam, I had enough. I've been in so much pain. Just... just let me... let me live this night without worrying or thinking about anything, anything about you." I said, trying to control my tears.

All the pains I had before that was caused by Adam feels fresh. It still cuts through me. The truth that I still love him makes me hurt the most.

"Katherine, I loved you and I will always love you. Ever since-

I slapped him on the face. He just stared at me, shocked.

"How dare you?! How dare you tell me those words? After all you've done? Why don't you just stop existing in my memories, in my dreams, in the world!? Get the hell out of my life!" and I slammed the door close.

And now, here I am again crying. Why can't I just forget about him? Why I have to be hurt like this? I want to be happy. Real happy.

'You know you can't be happy. That's because you exactly know who can make you happy'

I can't accept the fact that until now, being with Adam, the man I used to love, is the best feeling ever. But he's the same man who had hurt me in just a matter of seconds.

'but everyone deserves a second chance Katherine. If you love him enough you would let him explain.'

Right! I should run after my happiness. I must hear him out.

I went out of my room looking for Adam but he is nowhere to be found. I went out of the hotel not minding that I'm just wearing my pajamas. I looked around and found him sitting on a bench across the street.

He was looking to nowhere, and he looks devastated.

'see Katherine, he's also hurt.'

"Adam! Adam!" I shouted

He looked up and when he saw me, he smiled and cross the street.

Without any word he just embraced me so tight. The same love and passion I felt from the very first time he touched me is still there. But this time, it's much more. Maybe because we missed each other a lot.

When he pulled back he hold my face with his two hands and look me in the eyes.

"I can't believe this is happening. I thought... I thought I can never see you and touch you again. I'm sorry for everything, for all the heartache I've caused you. Please forg-
