That night, I didn't sleep. I couldn't sleep. Hindi ako makapaniwala na nagawa ko ito. We were in the carpeted floor, lying down. He was asleep. His hand were around me and I am face to face with him. I found myself crying. I slowly took his arm away from me, isa – isa kong pinulot ang damit ko at isinuot iyon. I wrapped a robe around myself and stood there. I was eyeing him. Tulog na tulog siya – siguro dahil sa pagod? Napagod ba siya? Kung sabagay – hanggang ngayon ay nanginginig ang tuhod ko.
"Ate--- what the fuck?!" I almost jumped in shock when I saw Kairos. He walked in my room. "Who the fuck is that and why is he on the floor?!" He hissed at me. Nakakuyom na kaagad ang mga palad niya habang nakatayo sa may pinto ko. Hahakbang na sana siya papunta kay Waldo pero pinigilan ko siya. Itinulak ko siya palabas ng kwarto ko.
"Will you ever learn to knock, Kairos?!" I hissed at her.
"Who the fuck is that guy? What did he do to you, huh? Pinilit ka ba niya? Putang ina!"
"Kairos! Stop treating me like I am the younger sister here!" Sigaw ko sa kanya. Hindi naman siya nakakibo. "Mas matanda ako sa'yo, mas alam ko kung anong ginagawa ko! Ako ang Ate dito!" I hissed at him. Hindi nakakibo si Kairos. Alam niya kasi kapag galit na ako. Hinatak ko siya palabas ng bahay.
"Diyan ka lang sa porch! H'wag kang aalis."
Pumasok ako sa bahay para kumuha ng alak sa ref. Bumalik ako kay Kairos at naupo sa tabi niya. Nasa gitna namin ang anim na bote ng Pale Pilsen. I started drinking. Ipinagbukas niya ako ng lata at iyon ang ininom ko.
"Who's that man?"
I looked at Kairos while drinking.
"He's just a boy." Wika ko.
"You fucked him. Do you even realize what kind of trauma it will bring me? How many sleepless nights it will cause me?" Nanunumbat na tanong niya. "Nagpunta ako dito para mag-apologize sa'yo kahit hindi ko naman maintindihan kung bakit gusto ni Iake na mag-sorry ako."
"Maybe because you were rude to me at the photoshoot earlier?" Hinampas ko siya sa ulo.
"I wasn't."
"So, bakit mo ginawa?"
Napainom siya ng alak.
"Wala eh, dinaan na naman ako sa..." He sighed again. "She seemed submissive but she has ways of making me do the things she likes. Napapasunod niya ako nang hindi ko napapansin." Kairos smiled. "And it makes me want her more. Parang ako iyong dominante sa aming dalawa but she has ways and it catches me in my unguarded moments."
"Is it sex?" I teased him.
He grinned. "Sex is not the term. Making love with her makes me want to buy her pearls. Which I already did. I brought her an oyster farm in the middle of the Mediterranean."
"That's sweet." Sabi ko sa kanya.
"Yeah... she makes me want to do things I never thought I could. Last night, she told me how much she likes the northern part of the sky at night. Before I went to sleep last night, kinuha ko iyong coordinates and then this morning, I bought her the stars in that part of the night sky. If she wants the moon, I will literally give it to her."
I sighed. I envy Mariake for having a man like Kairos. People view my brother as a very misunderstood person. Akala nila ganito, ganyan, but he has something more to offer.
"What about that man?" He asked me again.
"He's a model." I said while drinking.
