Tae absolutely had zero idea how he was going to fix everything. He knew their last resolve were already broken, dangling at the edge of a tree ready to fall to the ground any second of the day. But Tae wanted to save it, wanted to revive anything that's left behind. He cannot just let their friendship go to waste because of a stupid slip-up confession.

Tee hadn't even taken it as one.

Sure, it had hurt. But despite the bitter clamor it had left in his mouth, Tae wanted to fix them, more than anything. He can't just let Tee slip away between his fingers this fast.

He woke up with a stupid headache quarter past 8 in the morning. Tae cursed out as he almost threw the alam clock he had on the bedside table to the floor. He was already late for about an hour, and it will take more than that to drive to the outskirts of Mahidol University. Tae knew they were not scheduled to film any secenes that involved him being in front of the camera at least until noon but still, it's not like him to miss out being there too early for morning call.

He hastly got up and was about to leave for the bathroom when he remembered to give a call to the boys. That had been their usual routine- if one has to be late or won't be able to attend their meetings, they'd have to give a heads up to the others.

Tae grabbed his phone lying beside the pillow and immediately went to his contacts. And as if by reflex, his hands automatically zero-ed in at Tee's number. He was already about to press the call button when he remembered that, right, he can't call him now. So in spite of the awful regret he had felt, he instead pressed Godt's number.

It was his fault that they were now broken anyway.

When he arrived at the set, and can already see the ongoing shooting happening at the corner of the hallway, Tae willed himself to do it. If that's the only way Tee will feel at ease with him again, he can try. He'd do anything.

Tae almost missed the figure sitting in the corner too focused on his device.

Tae almost backed out from his plan when he saw him. Tee looked pliant, and relax...happy, even. Tae thought maybe he didn't have to bother him anymore, maybe Tee was already past their differences and gave up on him.

But as Tae stared at him at Tee had looked up his way, Tae can almost feel himself melt right on his steps when he saw a smile, so beautiful and radiant, being directed to him.

He almost didn't believe it at first. Because when he left his apartment hours ago, he had thought there's no way their interactions will ever be the same again. Tee will surely pretend that he didn't exist.

But as Tae got closer to the younger guy and his view cleared, the smile was never gone. Even when he sat down next to him, Tee still maintained the same smile. Tae's heart may have bloomed.

Because Tee was trying as well.

Tee also wanted to fix them.

And as Tee greeted him the usual 'good morning', Tae said it back with a little bit of hesitance, because he didn't know how to go from here. He didn't know how to start.

After he had taken a shower this morning, Tae thought hard about how he was going to face Tee without looking like he was ready to beg; how he was going to do the fixing part.

And then it clicked.

Just a week ago, a senior from KU he had been close for years had lined him about a girl who seemingly had an interest in him. He had replied a simple 'not really interested' and asked for a different topic but his friend had been persistent. Apparently, the girl was their campus star.  Tae really had zero interest whether she was the most beautiful girl in the university or not because he already had his eyes set on someone else. Despite his constant noncomittal and short responses, his friend all but sent a picture of the girl. She truly was beautiful. But still, nothing compared to Tee.
