The next morning, Katsuki's phone buzzed and the messages appeared on his screen as he unlocked it;
"[12:01pm]
*Izuku renamed this group chat to* 'Boyfriends <3'
Izuku: Good afternoon! I've had a shower & have eaten breakfast.(๑>◡<๑)♡
Shoto: Good morning, Izuku. I will pick you up in an hour.
Izuku: Where r we going?
Shoto: Surprise.
Izuku: o! Excited! Where's Kacchan?
Shoto: I would guess that he's still asleep.
Izuku: Haha probably, Kacchan stays up to late :< <3
Shoto: Teach me how to make the heart.
Izuku: < + 3
Shoto: 3>
Shoto: it doesn't work.
Izuku: (*_*)
Izuku: I'll show u l8r"Katsuki chuckled at he looked at his phone. Izuku was so adorable, especially with those emoticons. He looked at the time stamps of the texts and then at the time. He had twenty minutes. He had a quick shower, grabbed a snack and slipped on something relatively decent; a pair of blue jeans and a clean white t-shirt. Oh, and his lucky black leather jacket. He only ever wore it on dates. The knock on his door sounded and he opened it to Shoto. He was wearing black trousers, a white button up and the black trench coat he wore the night of the party. It suited him. He had also noticed that he had combed his hair back slightly. Katsuki thought he looked handsome but wouldn't dare admit it out loud.
They rode in silence to Izuku's house until Shoto broke the ice.
"What do you think he's going to wear?" He pondered it for the whole way up to Izuku's door, his curiosity and hope eating at him.Answer: he was wearing his usual red sneakers, baggy ripped jeans, and the holy grail of the outfit; a pastel pink crop top that showed off his lean body. It was glorious.
"Hiya Kacchan, Shochan! Wow! You two look so good!" They we're both stunned. "Why are you staring at my outfit, Kacchan? Does it look bad? I'm sorry! I'll go change!""It looks fine, Izuku." Interjected Shoto.
"Izuku. I want to take a picture of what you right now and tape it over my eyes so that's all I can see for the rest of my life." The small boy blushed at this and Shoto insisted that they 'got going already'. The car ride was a lot more boisterous with Izuku there. He insisted on listening to music and was singing his heart out and giggling in the back seat like crazy. It made the two boys in the front so grateful to be alive and have a boyfriend as amazing as this one.
When they stopped, they were parked in front of a 1950s style red and white diner that had a neon sign out side that showed the name of it; Tina's. Izuku smiled excitedly and basically ran inside to have a look. The floors were checkered and on the right side of the room there was a long strip of counter in front of the cash register and what he assumed to be a kitchen. Below the counter there were red and silver bar stools. There were a couple of tables dotted around in the middle of the room, and to the far left there were booths with red sofa against the wall. Swing music played softly through the semi-crowded restaurant, coming from a bright, multi-coloured jukebox against the far wall.
Izuku's smile could out-shine the sun. He looked so much better than he did yesterday already. He obviously felt at home here. Todoroki was so glad he decided to bring the other two here. He felt arms around his shoulder and a fluff of hair against his neck.
"Thank you! I love it here!" Todoroki swore in that moment he was dreaming. His crush was being so grateful of him just bringing him to a restaurant."'S not that great..." Katsuki said, jealously.
"You can choose what we do next time, Kacchan!"
They sat down at the booth per
Izuku's request. The two taller boys argued over who would sit next to Izuku so he suggested they both sit opposite him and next to each other. After a few glares they agreed and chatted happily until the waitress came over. She had black hair tied up in a high ponytail that went to one side, and and and a fringe also on one side. She was wearing the uniform, which was a blue dress which had a tennis skirt bottom, and white accents and buttons, along with a apron around her waist. She was very pretty, I Izuku noted, but waved it off. He ordered a tuna melt with a strawberry milkshake because he loved milkshakes! Shoto ordered a salads and Katsuki ordered the biggest burger they had. The waitress did the server smile and moved away from their table.
"That was Momo, despite the fact her parents own this chain restaurant and are well off, she insisted to work to make her own money. She's a close friend of mine. Partially because of our parents, but mostly because I like her attitude. I relate." Shoto explained."Rich boy." Katski scoffed.
"Don't you make a lot of money from your band?" He retaliated.
"At least I had to work for what I have."
"You two should both be grateful! I'm a struggling artist, who can't get by without skipping a couple of meals." Izuku joked. He laughed like it was nothing. Shoto and Katsuki, however, looked mortified. They hadn't realised Izuku's position, but it made sense. He worked so hard at the cafe and he was there nearly everyday. When he noticed these expressions he clarified, "I'm fine guys, really! I'm only joking!" They calmed a bit at that.
"You said you were an artist. Do you have any of your pieces with you?"
"Yes- I have my sketch book with me! I brought it just in case you brought us to a park or something." He pulled out the sketch book and handed it over to Todoroki, and Katsuki looked at them over his shoulder.
"These are fucking fantastic!" The latter said.
"They are very good. Izuku. I would like you to paint something I can hang in my home." Izuku was taken aback. No one had every complimented his art and asked him to paint for them.
"I would love to, Shochan!"
"Not fair! I want one too!" Katsuki sounded like a small child. Izuku grinned at him and nodded with a smile to accept his request. He was so unbelievably happy.
"I would like a painting twice as big as Katsuki's." Todoroki bargained.
"Actually, I want you to paint something to cover my wall." Katsuki snarled in response. Izuku was laughing quietly. These two had to make everything a competition for his affection. It's okay, eventually they will realise that he loved them both. He had different kinds of feelings for them and has had different experiences with them, he loved them equally.
"My father has a big influence over an art gallery near his home. I want you to paint two paintings. One that I can hang in my home, and he other, the one you prefer, will be hung up in the gallery." The quiet laughing stopped. Todoroki wasn't being serious, was he? This was a joke to make him look stupid. Wait, what was he thinking? Todoroki loved him. He should trust him.
"Oh, Shochan, Kacchan, I would love to do that so much!" He smiled with tears in his eyes. What did he do to deserve such lovely boyfriends?
