This wasn't so unbelievable it must be fake, because Toshinori often stopped by the house to talk to his father about work-related matters, and in turn, knew Shoto.
"Ah! Young Todoroki! How are you?"
"I- um- er-" There are very few times in which Shoto is at a loss for words. He was brought up to have a wide vocabulary, excellent conversational skills and impeccable manners (as all businesses men and women need) but he's just been caught trying to escape from his father, by one of his father's closest associates. He kept a level head and soldiered through the conversation. He liked Toshinori, but he couldn't give too much away. "If you're looking for my father, he's at work."
"Thank you for the information, dear boy, but I'm just being friendly! What have you been up to? Is that a sketch book in your bag I see? Been dabbling in a craft?" Shoto looked at the yellow backpack he was gripping that had a small corner of the drawing pad visible as it was poking out the top.
"No, this isn't mine," something clicked inside his mind, "actually, Mr Yagi, there is someone I'd like you to meet, if you're not too busy."
"I've just got to drop off this paperwork to your old man, and I'll be right there! Where is this mystery person?" The younger male gave him the address and he promised he would be there in half an hour or less.
As Shoto got into the car, Katsuki started to shout at him.
"What took you so long? I was about to die of boredom in here!"
"I had an unexpected visitor."
"Who? It wasn't your father was it?"
"No, it was Toshinori Yagi." Katsuki's eyes widened in shock and stared in disbelief.
"Toshinori Yagi? The Toshinori Yagi? I don't... it can't-" He seemed breathless. "When we were young, Izuku loved him, he was his idol. He still is, I think. He would not stop talking about him, he would analyse his work in a journal. At the time, I thought it was so annoying," he sighed, "but now it's just endearing."
"He's coming to meet Izuku in less than half an hour."
"What?" Katsuki shrieked, "Half an hour? Well, then let's go!" He started the car and drove off, on the brink of speeding.
"We can't tell him, Katsuki! It has to be a surprise!"
"Okay, okay. I'll keep it a secret." This was going to be the surprise of a lifetime (and get Shoto some good-boyfriend points).
When they got home, they were greeted by a glorious sight.
"Kacchan, Shochan! Welcome home!" It was Izuku, with an apron, covered in paint. The cloth was coated in splashes of colour and he had a dollop on his cheek and a small smudge on his nose. He had his hair clipped back. He looked so beautiful.
This being said, Shoto has had the idea of having a housewife implemented in his brain by his father since birth. He never got it. Why would he want a wife that did nothing all day?
But Izuku in that apron? He got it now. If his boyfriend was there to greet him everyday and didn't have to worry about anything? He would trade it all for that. The sight made him weak to the knees.
