The next day, Izuku was awoken by a text to the group chat he had made for him and his boyfriends. He typed a message and they became back and forth. By the time they had finished, the group chat displayed this on Izuku's phone;
"Kacchan<3: good morning
Izuku: morning Kacchan!! Ur up early, did u get enough sleep??
Kacchan<3: of course, i'm not a child
Shochan<3: Good morning. I heard that you two were together after I left for a couple of hours.
Izuku: yeah- Wait, r u mad?? I'm sorry, Shochan!! Nothing rlly happened!!! 。゚(゚'ω'゚)゚。
Kacchan<3: yeah, we did, what are you going to do about it?
Shochan<3: I'm not mad. I'm just not good at expressing while texting. I apologise that it came off that way, Bunny. Anyway, would you allow me to pleasure of having you over at my home for lunch?
Kacchan<3: no. the band is meeting today and I have to be there, sorry, Shoto
Izuku: Oh my!!! Such a formal invitation <3 I'm free & I would love to come!(๑>◡<๑)
Shochan<3: I'll pick you up soon.
Izuku: I'll wear something nice!!! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)"Little did Izuku know, Katsuki sent a text to Shoto privately, which said "send me a picture of that outfit, you lucky bastard".
Izuku was excited to see Todoroki's house, so he got ready as soon as possible. He put on the nicest pair of white jeans he owned, and an oversized beige sweater. He thought that this was a nice outfit but he wasn't sure. Shoto did come from a rich family, and his house has got to be really nice, right? What if his parents are there? What if they're homophobic? What if they think polyamory was disgusting? He was worrying on his bed when he was interrupted by a sharp knock on the door. He pulled himself up, took a deep breath to rid his anxiety and opened the door. He looked up to his lover who looked breathtaking. His style was clean and sharp and his hair was neat and immaculate. He had really put in the effort this morning. "Oh, Shochan, you look amazing!"
"Good morning, my gorgeous bunny. Are you ready to go?"
"Yep!" He took his calloused hand into his own, "how far away is your house?"
"Not far, I promise." Shoto led Izuku to his car and they talked the whole way to his house.
They arrived shortly after, and Izuku looked at Shoto's house in a stupor. It was a big house. It had a modern air to it, and it was obviously a very expensive house.
"Wow! Your house is so nice! It's really big! I don't feel fancy enough to step inside!"
"Of course you are. You're the beloved boyfriend of a rich heir to a multi-million dollar company and famous drummer. If that doesn't make you 'fancy' enough, I don't know what will." Izuku smiled at his boyfriend that was trying to comfort him. He was trying to make him feel worthy, and that he deserved this, and he really appreciated that. "Maybe one day we'll have a bigger house than this, that's even nicer and I can rub it in my father's face." He giggles at that. Shoto knew how to make him laugh, that was for sure. They strolled in, and the taller boy invited him to sit down and Izuku gladly accepted the offer. At that moment, a grey, long haired cat with blue eyes casually walked into the room, Izuku was in love.
"Hey Shochan! I didn't know you had a cat! Aw, so cute!" He stared to stroke and pet the affectionate cat who was now rubbing against his leg.
"Yeah, her name is Victoria. She's usually not that nice to new people. I'm sure she can tell how much I care about you."
"You're so sweet! Oh, and you are too, Shochan." Izuku teased. He really loved cats and dogs, but what he really wanted was a rabbit. "So, Shochan, what would you like me to paint for your home?"
"I'm not sure, whatever you would like to paint." Truth be told, Shoto wouldn't mind whatever, because he knew his boyfriend was going to do a good job. He didn't just offer to put his work into a gallery because he loved him, but because he saw talent in the small boy. "Tell me... what is your inspiration? Why did you start painting?"
"Yagi Toshinori! He is regarded one of-if not the- best artist of our time!" His eyes lit up as he spoke with wild enthusiasm, "I've liked him since I was little, he was- and still is- my role model. I look up to him so much! If it wasn't for him, I might've given up."
"Given up what?"
"Art. Morale. And I'm convinced even a couple of times living."
"I'm sorry, Izuku." He knew Katsuki contributed to that. Did he know Izuku felt that way? Probably not. It made him so angry and upset, but he knows he's changed. Katsuki better than he was before, and he's never changing back. Not if Shoto had anything to say about it. "Ah, how rude of me, would you like anything to drink?" He tried to lighten the mood.
"No, thank you." He smiled at Shoto to show him that he was okay.
"Alright then, I will prepare lunch for us both."
"Let me help! It'll be fun!"
"Oh, no, Bun. I'll be fine-"
"So you're just going to make me sit here all on my own? That's not fair! Shochan, please!" Shoto sighed playfully.
"How could I say no to you?"
