"Now that we're alone, can you run an errand with me? It'd be so lonely on my own." Katsuki persuaded.

"Of course! What's the errand?"

"Picking up and walking my dog."

"You have a dog?" Izuku asked excitedly.

"Yeah, I asked my friend to look after him while I was unpacking."

"I would love to! Let's go!" Izuku practically dragged him out the door, despite not knowing where the friend lived. Katski led the way for him. The mid-afternoon sun shone on them. They arrived after about fifteen minutes of walking. Katsuki knocked on the door.

"Hey, Katsuki, here for Max?" He looked Izuku up and down. "Who's this?"

"Hands off, Sero. This is my boyfriend, Izuku. And yes, I'm here for Max." A rather large German Shepard came bounding up to Katsuki and jumped up to him. Katsuki smiled, crouched down and started playing with the dog. Izuku saw that Katsuki loved the dog a lot. How could he not? He was so cute and apparently very loving. Katsuki attached the leash to Max's collar and stood up. "Thank you for looking after him, dude." He said before walking away, towards the park.

"Your dog is so cute!" Izuku exclaimed.

"He is. Do you have any pets?"

"No, I would feel bad keeping a pet that I didn't have enough money or time to support, but I've always wanted a rabbit."

"Why do you work so hard at the cafe?"

"I'm taking a break year from university so I can get money to help me pay for it" He sighed,"or for my work to be recognised. Either way is fine by me. But the second option isn't very likely."

"But why-" Katsuki started.

"No, it's my turn to ask a question! You asked two so I will as well."

Izuku said cheerfully, "when did you start playing drums?"

"When I started high school, I was so caught up in fitting in, my grades were suffering. I met Kaminari and Kirishima, and they both played instruments. I told them I wanted to play an instrument too and they joked about, saying that I should play drums to let out my anger." They were in the park now, and Katski let Max off his leash to run about while he and Izuku sat down, "my parents weren't happy about my grades so they made me a deal; if I studied harder, they would get me a drum kit and drumming lessons. I was determined to get those drums so I sat down and got my shit together."

"My second question; can I hear you play when we get back home- I mean your house," he started mumbling, "it's not our house, it's yours. But I'm sure you understood- I'm mumbling aren't I?"

"Yes to both questions." Izuku's eyes lit up, excitedly, but Katsuki had known him long enough to tell he wanted to ask another question, "Go on," he sighed, "what's your question?"

"Can I play fetch with Max?"

"Of course, what a dumb question." Izuku got up and played with the dog for a few moments and then threw a stick for him to run after. Katsuki noticed how adorable this display was.

By the end of the time they spent walking the dog, Katsuki realised the love he had for Max didn't hold a candle up to how he felt about Izuku. Don't get him wrong, he loved his dog, but if it came to it, he would push the animal in front of a bus to save his boyfriend. They were inside, and Izuku was glad to be out of the air that was quickly chilling.

"Let's go to my bedroom."

"Katsuki! I-I- d-do you-?"

"I meant, that's were my drums are, but if you want we can-"

"To the bedroom we go!" Izuku cut off and took Katsuki's hand as he was led to the bedroom. The drums were positioned so that you were facing the bed while playing them. Katsuki took his place on the stool of the drums, while Izuku sat cross-legged on the bed, facing him. He smiled as encouragement which made Katsuki's heart flutter. He started playing something Izuku didn't recognise, but enjoyed nonetheless. When he had finished, there was a round of rowdy applause, and a small boy on his bed beaming like a maniac.

"Oh, Kacchan, that was amazing!"

"I know, you're welcome, 'zuku."

Izuku flopped on the bed so he was looking up at the ceiling.

"I should probably head home soon, it's getting late, and I've got work in the morning."

"Stay overnight. You can borrow some of my clothes for work."

"Kacchan, you know that-"

"It wasn't a choice." Izuku laughed at that.

"Be serious! I need to go! Give me a lift, please?"

"Okay, beautiful, if you insist." He grinned at the taller male. He loved the pet names his boyfriends gave him. They made him feel special, happy, even. He wanted to give something back to them in return. Little did he know, to Shoto and Katsuki, the only compensation they needed was just being with him.

When Katsuki pulled up outside Izuku's house, he didn't want to let Izuku leave. He wanted to stay with him forever.

"Goodnight! I had a lot of fun!" And to punctuate his sentence, the he kissed the blonde boy on the cheek and quickly scuttled out the car before the red blooming on his face could be seen. Katsuki smirked. Shoto was going to be so jealous. He knew this wasn't a competition, but it felt so good to have something that the half-and-half boy didn't. Especially when it came to Izuku. He really regretted ruining his childhood and self esteem, when he was a bully. He couldn't understand how Izuku was so forgiving and loving towards him, and he didn't want to ruin his second chance by being an ass. Katsuki wanted to be as close and cuddly with Izuku as possible, to make up for time lost.
