Chapter 19- Christmas

[Ingrid's POV]

"MUM DAD MUM DAD WAKE UP! IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY!" Me, Holly and Erin shouted in unison as we jumped up and down on the end of their bed.

My parents had made sure they'd adopted Erin by the time it was Christmas, it wasn't too difficult as her real parents didn't seem to mind.

"Go away," my dad grumbled, making us all laugh.

"Don't be such a killjoy," my mum chuckled.

Eventually my dad was more awake and we waited excitedly outside the living room door to get our presents.

"You three are 17, why are you so excited?" My mum asked.

"Because it's Christmas!" I squeaked.

"Okay, you ready?" My dad asked whilst getting out the video camera.

"Yes yes yes!" Holly squealed.

My dad opened the door and we saw our beautiful little Christmas tree surrounded by presents. All three of us ran over excitedly and started tearing the paper off of our gifts.

"Hollister clothes! Thanks mum and dad!" Holly beamed.

"Band merch!" Me and Erin squealed together, "thank you!"

I got some Blink 182 merch and Erin got some Black Veil Brides merch and we were so happy. Holly's clothes were really stunning but I wondered how she hadn't bought the whole shop yet!

Later it was time for Christmas lunch and then my parents said we could have some friends round. The lunch was amazing, all the good tasted so good and I was completely stuffed by the end of it, Holly and Erin were too.

Frank, Mike and Jack arrived to bring us our presents in the afternoon. I'd bought Frank a Green Day guitar pick and loads of stickers for his new guitar, I was so scared he wouldn't like them.

"Here," I said and gave him the gifts, "I spoke to your mum and found out you were getting a guitar so I bought these!"

Frank excitedly unwrapped the present.

"Woah! A Green Day pick!" He exclaimed, "and stickers! Thanks Ingrid you're the best!"

He kissed me on the cheek and I blushed.

"It's signed, too," I giggled gesturing to the pick.

He turned it over and his eyes widened at Billie Joe's signature.

"This is so cool," he breathed, "now for your present!"

"You shouldn't have got me anything," I whined.

"But I just had to," he smirked, pulling out a box, "open it."

I undid the gold bow and opened the little black box to find a ring. It was silver with intricate swirls engraved into it and three moonstones set across the top.

"It's a promise ring," Frank explained, "because I promise I'm going to look after you and that I'll never leave you."

"It's so beautiful," I gasped, "how did you know moonstones were my favourite?"

"I have my resources," he smirked and then turned around to give Holly a thumbs up and she laughed.

"My own boyfriend and sister going behind my back, I'm shocked," I said, placing a hand over my mouth in mock horror.

"Shh you, just as long as you like it," Frank chuckled.

"I bloody love it Frank, thank you so much!" I cried and leaned in to kiss him.

"Ingrid that's gross," my dad said and I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Dad don't act like you didn't do the same thing when you were 17," I sassed.

"Damn, okay. You got me there," my dad laughed and walked back into the kitchen.

Frank and I went over to Holly, Erin, Jack and Mike to see what they had got each other. Mike had obviously bought Holly something from Hollister and it was so pretty, it was a lace top and it already looked like it would suit her well. Holly had bought Mike some personalised drum sticks which were incredibly cool. Jack bought Erin a leather jacket and it was so awesome, it had band patches sewn into it all over, there were Black Veil Brides ones, Bring Me The Horizon ones and Sleeping With Sirens ones.

"Bullshit did you sew them in yourself," I laughed.

"I actually did!" Jack said, "look I have wounds in my fingers!"

Jack held up his hand to show us various stab wounds in his fingers which made us laugh.

"Oh Jack," Erin chuckled, "only you."

Erin had given Jack a guitar pick too, except it was a Guns n Roses one rather than a Green Day one. He loved it.

Everyone was chatting away to themselves so I decided to go on my phone into a group chat I had with Millie and Lucy to see how their days had gone.

Ingrid: Hey guys! Merry Christmas!:)

Millie: You too!

Lucy: Merry Christmas:)

Ingrid: I'm guessing you got band merch like me?;)

Lucy: Of course;)

Millie: Yep haha xD

Ingrid: Awesome! What did Tony and Vic get you?

Millie: Tony got me a shit ton of posters and some apple juice:')

Ingrid: He knows you well;) what did Vic get you Lucy?

Lucy: A necklace in the shape of a heart, it's so pretty I'll have to show you guys! What did Frank get you?

Ingrid: A promise ring, it's so beautiful. I'll show it to you both. Are we still up for doing something on New Year's Eve?

Lucy: Aw! and yeah sure!

Millie: Definitely!

Ingrid: Okay cool, I have to go now because the Christmas films are starting. I hope the rest of your day is awesome! Bye guys!

Millie&Lucy: Bye!

I put my phone down and joined everyone on the sofa to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas.

"This is by far the best Christmas film," Erin stated.

"Yep, it has a Marilyn Manson song in it, of course it is," I giggled.

"I quite like The Muppets one though," Holly said.

Everyone nodded in mutual agreement as the film began to start. Frank turned to look at me and twiddled the ring around my finger.

"It suits you," he whispered.

"I think so too," I whispered back and smiled.

"I love you so much," he said.

"I love you too," I replied and kissed him on the nose.

"Hey! Nose kissing is my thing!" Erin whined.

"Sorry Erin," I laughed.

Everything was back to normal again and everyone was happy. I couldn't wait for my plan for the New Year's Eve party to happen either!
