Chapter 4

(Ricky's P.O.V)

The door slamming shut brought me back from my thoughts. I wonder who left. I left my room and noticed that Mae's door was open.
My hopes got up a little bit. I really hope that we can talk and can tell her I'm sorry.

I rush down the stairs, hoping I would find her, but I didn't.
I walk in the kitchen but o my find Vinny.

"Vinny, where's Mae?" I ask desperately.

He looked at me, "She left a little while ago." He said, going back to what he was doing.

A sigh left my lips. Bad stuff always happens to me.

(Mae's P.O.V)

"And that's why I feel like shit." I explained everything to her.

And she listened to every word I said.

"What a little fucker." She said, making me laugh.
"It's sounds to me that you two need to talk about this." She said.

"Really?" I said, flopping down on her bed.

"Yes really! You need to go over to him, grab him by the ear and make him apologize." She told me.

It was good advice. And she was right.

I pull myself up off of the bed and look at her defeated.

"You're right." I said.

A smirk played on her lips. "See, I'm always right."

"Yes, you are." I said laughing.

She pulled me into a hug and I hugged her back. A tear slipping from my eye. We pulled away and I wipe the tear away.

"Now, lets go have some fun." She said smiling insanely.

I smile insanely back. "Let's do it."

We run outside from her door and we screamed and laughed and just had straight up fun.

"Come on Mae! Let's go to Jacks house!" She yelled.

I slight blush rose to me cheeks. I may have had a crush on him in the past but not anymore, of course since I finally gave in to liking Ricky.

"I don't like him anymore if you're wondering." I yelled out to her.

"Oh I know I just wanna go say hi." She said laughing.

We walked to his house and knocked on his door.

His face lit up once he saw me.

"Hey Mae! It's been a while." He said pulling me into hug.

I awkwardly hug back. "I know it has." I laugh.

We pulled back and he hugged Nevaeh.

"Wanna come inside?" He asked.

I look at Nevaeh, and she looked at me.

"Sure." She replied for us.

We walked inside and went to his room.
We all joked around and played a couple rounds of truth or dare, which was embarrassing. But we had fun.

"Hey guys I gotta go." I said looking at the time.

"Ok," Nevaeh sighed. "I'm gonna stay her for a little longer." She said smirking at Jack.

I knew they were gonna fuck or something. But I didn't mind.

"Well have fun fucking." I said, laughing as I left his room and ran out his front door.

I ran down the street as fast as I could. The wind blew my hair back making me feel free again, like I was flying.
I track my house and open it quickly, gaining the looks of others as I slammed it shut again.

"You're home just in time." My dads voice broke the silence.

"Yea i did, I ran as fast as I could here." I said, laughing at the end.

I look around the room, and my eyes met his beautiful blue eyes. A little gasp left my mouth, I felt the guilt rise up in my chest.
I look away from his eyes and walk up the stairs.

I'm going to have to talk to him eventually.
