Crystalline's POV:

Jake's hold on my hand becomes tighter as we move through the crowd, so he won't lose me. I look around for Abby as he directs me through the mass of people, but neither she or that drink-spiking liar can be found. As we come closer to the door leading outside, I decide we need to change direction. It's going to be a while until we find them and convince them to follow our demands, so I yanked Jake's hand before heading over to the bar. I start making my way towards it, but Jake pulls me back to him.

"Where are you going," he asked. "Kara wants Abby to do something crazy, she'd lead her to the pool or dancefloor. We've checked one, now we should look towa-"

"That isn't a fact, though; it's an educated guess! We should take a more certain path, like convincing someone to betray Kara's trust, by telling us some useful information?"

He thinks for a while, but I spell it out for him.

"John is easy for getting out information, right? He can help us!"

"Ohh! Good thinking, Kitty!"

I roll my eyes at the all to familiar nickname, then start maneuvering towards the bar again. A few girls are flirting with John as he shakes their cocktails for them.

"You're so handsome," a beautiful blonde flirts, as he shows off his bartender skills.

"Yeah, well what can I say," he replies. That smug son of a gun.

"John," I call out, as Jake and I reach the bar. All three of the girls turn to see who it is calling out to their prey. Clearly unimpressed, their attention returns to the bachelor serving their drinks. I only noticed one of them as Tommaline, which was unusual, since she is always with Anna and Piper.

"John, I need to talk to you," I sternly command, trying to seem threatening. "And I'd like a water."

"Sorry sweetheart, but I'm busy with these gorgeous women over here," he replies, stopping his drink-making to blow them a kiss. As if on cue, they each sigh. I couldn't be more bored.

"Either talk to us or serve them each a Sweet Evil; I dare you," I remarked, feeling my bitterness show slightly. Their eyes light up in curiosity, and I can see how much he hates that I said that. I pushed it back down before I cause anymore harm.

"Ladies, you will not be getting that drink, but I'll serve you a Devil's Glass," John compromised. They were still curious, so they started asking questions, for which John didn't answer. He slid me a glass of water, which I quickly drank.

"Hey! Crystalline," one of them shouted.

"How do you know my name?"

"Everyone in this highschool knows your name! Anyways, what's a Sweet Evil?"

"John can tell you."

"Look, I'll come and talk after these drinks are finished, so don't start putting these girls on my back," John spoke firmly, which ended it there. He handed them each the red cocktail and came over towards us. Once he was in front of us, I spoke.

"We can't talk here," I suggested. "Let's go some place better."

He and Jake nodded, but as soon as we turned our backs, we heard footsteps quickly dashing away. I turned to see him running into the backyard, and Jake kept walking.

"Jake," I yelled as I began running. I showed my speed as I followed his trail, catching up quickly. Jake followed, but I'm faster than him. John ran around the pool and through the side gate, out into the front yard. Then we chased him back inside. It was a smart move considering how many people were in there. I saw his head moving quickly through the crowds, but the thing is, I am good with crowds. I made my way through, quickly, simply and caught up in no time... Or so I thought.
