I felt myself slowly come to consciousness, yet my eyes stayed closed. I heard the sound of birds tweeting, dogs barking and cars honking in the distance. I felt very warm for some reason, which was odd, since I never usually left the heater on overnight. I went to move, only to find something was holding me. That's was why I was so warm. There was somebody in my bed. Locked in that position, I looked up at the clock that read 6:24am. I'm an early bird, and a morning person, so that is normal. I moved my hand up to replace the hand keeping me against a strong and muscular figure. They groaned, pulling me closer, which only made it more important to escape. Who is this person? Why are they in my house? Why are they in my bed? What the heck happened last night?! I pulled them off me and got out of bed. The minute I stood up and turned around, my heart stopped.

JAKE IS IN MY BED!!! SHIRTLESS! He's sleeping in my bed! And he looks so gorgeous.

Wait... Hold up! Get a hold of yourself!

I bent down and shook his shoulder lightly.

"Jake, wake up," I murmured. "Jake, c'mon. Wake up."

"What time is it," he groaned sleepily.

"6:25. Please, I need to talk with you."

He opened one eye, to look at me. His grin came out to play, as he chuckled lightly. The eye closed as he breathed in, taking my focus away from the matter at hand, to the beauty that he was. My eyes slowly trailed over his face, gazing at his messy locks of hair, the light scruff along his jaw, the way his chest rose and fell with his breath.

"Earth to Crystalline," he teased, causing my eyes to shoot up, as if they were never there. He clearly noticed however, by the way his eyes mocked me, making my cheeks turn rosy pink. I looked away, concealing my smile.

"You don't remember anything, do you," Jake asked.

"No. Not much," I replied. "I certainly don't remember why you're in my bed!"

"That's probably the strangest part, actually."

I looked over at him again, and he had a concerned smile as he patted the spot in front of him, on the bed. I came down and sat on it. I wasn't sure what was going to happen but I had to figure out last night.

"So what do you remember," I ask.

"Everything."

"And all I remember is Abby and I arriving at the party. Kara took Abby away... up until we went to talk to John, actually."

"Yeah, well, that isn't too much. A whole lot of weird shit went down last night."

"Language!"

"Including you swearing at Kara and punching her."

I felt my jaw drop and my eyes widen. He just sat there, a grin on his face.

"You're lying."

"Nope."

"You're lying!"

"Nuh uh."

"Oh my gosh."

Held my head in my hands, trying to make sense of his words. He just chuckled, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Don't worry, Kitty. She deserved it!"

"But still!"

"Look, a lot of things happened last night that you're gonna regret. I don't know how you're gonna take it, but it happened. If it makes you feel any better, we didn't have sex."

I gave a sigh of relief, since I don't wanna be losing my virginity any time soon, but I was still worried about the other things that happened. I then noticed my hunger due to my stomach growling.
