"pick up pick up." eunhye muttered to herself, phone pressed to her ear. she had gone into the bathroom at this point.

when the ringing stopped, she immediately started talking.

"you love jiah, right? you need to come here as soon as possible."

"uh who is this?" hwanwoong's confused voice was heard on the other line.

"it's eunhye, you idiot." she rolled her eyes and she bounced from foot to foot in anxiousness.

"thanks for calling me an idiot. what do you want?" he said, sniffing a little.

"stop lying to yourself, admit you like jiah and come here now." eunhye burst out.

"your friend is sick at home and you're demanding for him to come out? i dont see why?" hwanwoong said.

"okay, let me simplify it for you. jihoon wants to confess to jiah now. he told me." she said slowly. there was a silence on the other line.

"...oh, okay. good for them, i guess."

"stop that, yeo hwanwoong. i know you love her. come here right now." eunhye stomped a foot on the ground, growing frustrated at hwanwoong.

"i don't care. im not coming." hwanwoong hung up the phone, leaving eunhye with nothing left to do but sigh.

she headed out of the bathroom and headed back to the table. everyone was deep in eating and didn't mind the fact that she had been gone.

she observed jihoon and jiah, it didn't seem like jihoon had done anything yet. she sighed in relief and sat down.

almost immediately after she sat down, jihoon looked up.

"jiah?" he began.

eunhye started to panic and quickly cut him off.

"uh, everyone! taedong and i have something to tell you." she announced. taedong looked at her in complete bewilderment.

"we do?" he asked, shooting her a questioning look.

"yes. it's kind of long overdue too." eunhye sighed. "taedong and i have been dating for a month now."

the rest at the table just stared open mouthed at eunhye and taedong. the silence dragged for a while until jiah threw a fist in the air.

"i kNEW IT!" jiah stood up and yelled, exchanging a high five with daniel.

"pay up, seul!" jiah and daniel held their hands out to seulin who gingerly dropped a few dollars in their hands while the newly discovered couple watched in confusion.

"oh we made a bet about you two." daniel shrugged.

"and congratulations! it's about time." jiah said.

seulin gave eunhye a pat, even while she mourned the lessening of her money.

jihoon sat blankly and watched as the focus of the table turned to taedong and eunhye.
