hey guys I hope things are becoming more and more layered and intriguing.

I hear Fang's voice seconds later. He growls "Demetria is here with a raiding party. Do not drain the human: I'd rather watch her and Demetria suffer more. We must move her to another den. Alec, take all the guards and everyone here to transfer her. Demetria can not obtain her precious prophecy." I felt myself being lifted and then thrown over someone's shoulder. I weakly winced in response, all my energy virtually gone. I opened my eyes as I was carried out the cell door. I caught a glimpse of Demetria who was livid, eyes blazing, fangs fully descended. She effortlessly tossed the vampire she had been fighting over the basement stairs railing. She noticed me almost instantly and moved in a blur. "Use the tunnel!" Fang commanded. I faintly saw Fang leap, tackling Demetria to the floor as the other blood clan vampires surrounded the vampire who was carrying me. Then, everything moved in a blur. I closed my eyes and relished the few minutes I wasn't being beaten, whipped, or partially drained. I was thrown against a cold cement floor. A few minutes later, my eyes shot open and I gasped in agony as fiery pain spread across my still bleeding back. My hands were chained behind my back and tied above my head to the metal bars of the window. I faced the door as I limply dangled, my knees almost touching the floor. The feeling in my hands began to recede again and I was unable to find the strength to stand up. I heard all but one male vampire left the cell. I assumed they went to stand guard. The remaining vampire began "You will remain in this cell until Demetria finds out you're here, then you'll get moved. If your glimpse of her today gave you any spark of hope, it will fade quickly. She will never take you from Blood clan. You will remain here until you die. Fang won't let Demetria's "Charred Blood" prophecy be fulfilled as long as you are in Blood Clans clutches." With that he kicked me fiercely in the stomach. I gagged at the force and would've thrown up if there were anything in my stomach to throw up. The next thing I knew a whip cracked against my lower abdomen. I flinched and grit my teeth in agony, my stomach stung strongly where the whip had cracked against it. Whiplash after whiplash continued to plague my lower abdomen. I could feel the blood soaking into my shirt and the waistband of my jeans as it ran down my stomach. I knew there would be no end to this torment in sight, and I honestly hoped Demetria would not find out where Blood Clan had hidden me. I'd have much rather perished than have to deal with any more confusion, vampire prophecy mystery, or fighting. I wished there was a way I could've strangle myself with this chain and just end it all then. But they never leave me with any slack. I close my eyes as a tear slips out from the corner of my closed eyes. I just want the pain to end, please.

It had been about two weeks from when they moved me to Alec's den. I lost all ability to keep track of time. I hung limply. I lost every ounce of energy and I could feel my tattered body starting to slowly shut down. I could barely even open my eyes. I was starved skinny, my ribs, cheek, and collar bones showing definitively. The only water I get is what managed to get into my mouth when they toss water onto me to wake me up or "wash my wounds" which is basically one of them watching me squirm as water stings every whiplash or cut it touches. The door burst open and my next torturer enters. I hear a growl, then a blow to the cheek bone snaps my head to the right. I can feel another bruise forming, adding to the collection of them that litters every part of my skin. Alec spits "Demetria's here she's brought almost the whole Char group and some of the Amber group. Too bad her attempt is futile and pointless." A voice from the direction of the doorway caught my attention. Demetria snarled "Really Alec? My raid is futile and pointless? Does not seem that way to me, especially when you're standing in my way..." I heard the pounding of footsteps, then the sound of multiple vampires entering the cell. Nathaniel's voice growled "Alec, give up, you're outnumbered! And it looks like your fellow clan members are struggling to fend off our dual raid. They might need your help." I heard an unnerving growl from Alec, then the whoosh of air and assumed he bolted from the cell in a blur. The chains were removed from my wrists. I let my body collapse to the blood covered cement floor. I felt someone flip me onto my back and I whimpered at the agonizing pain that spread across my body. "I will make Fang pay for what he has done to you. He will regret ever taking you from me." Demetria growled. She paused before continuing. "Gage, tell Thor and Amethyst that they can call their party's to retreat. Moore, tell Copper and Lapis patry's the same. Nathaniel, Rosetta, Ember, Tres, watch for, and deflect incoming attacks. The rest of my raiding party surround, and stick close. I want her out of Blood clan as swiftly as possible." Surprisingly, I felt arms lift me up gently, I was carried bridal style. I leaned heavily on the vampire who was holding me. I heard the sounds of fighting as I was carried. I left my eyes closed, allowing my body to remain limp, not having the energy to move. I could feel the wind and knew that we had began moving in a blur. A voice I didn't recognize questioned "Are we sure she's even alive, or that she'll recover from Blood Clans torment?" A deep growl emanated from the vampire carrying me. Demetria growled "She's breathing. She's alive. She will recover the prophecy has to be fulfilled, the Elders have spoken. I will oversee her recovery personally myself."

A few minutes later, I was laid down on something soft, but that did nothing to ease the pain I felt. I took in sharp breaths at the terrible discomfort. I knew no matter how I positioned myself, and no matter what side I laid on, I would be in the same excruciating pain. I felt a hand placed lightly on my shoulder, causing me to flinch and the owner to pull their hand away quickly. "Do you have the energy to move or more or less wash your wounds? We would not want you to die of infection. Though I'm positive your wounds are infected based upon the conditions of Blood Clan's cell." Demetria asked. I struggled to reply "n-no." I heard Demetria huff and state, "Open your eyes." I barely managed to open my eyes halfway, but I could see her frowning. She was bleeding from several cuts on her face and neck. Her clothes looked battered, torn in several places, scuffed, dirty and bloodstained from a brutal fight. Demetria's eyes turned red for a mere seconds before returning to normal. She said "I'll get you something to eat and drink." She turned to the door shouting "Moore! watch her while I'm gone." I closed my eyes as Moore walked into the room. "I apologize for what happened last time I saw you." He said after some time. I didn't respond, letting silence fill Demetria's room and relishing being able to rest. I quickly drifted off into a pain-troubled slumber, my body screaming for rest. I was woken up by a sharp pain as someone pulling me into a sitting position. I gritted my teeth feeling the lash wounds on my back start to bleed. Demetria was sitting down on the bed next to me. She held out a plate with a small amount of some sort of meat and I noticed a glass of water in her other hand. "Here." She offered. I could barely lift my arm up to take the plate so she got up and placed the glass on a dresser before she started pacing the room, her eyes turning a shade of bright red. I slowly started eating, all the energy I had being put into the repeated motion of bringing the meat from the plate to my mouth. I carefully watched Demetria with fear as she paced the room frustrated. "When you finish eating, I'm taking you to the shower room, washing your wounds. I can't stand that you're this weak and covered in whiplashes and bruises." Her fangs descended and she turned to me spitting "Ember!" The female vampire entered and nodded then Demetria left in a blur. I glanced at Ember confused and she just squinted her eyes at me. I couldn't read her expression. I ate most of the food on the plate, then giving into exhaustion, I slid the plate off me with as much effort as I could afford. I then closed my eyes and drifted off into a pained slumber. I hoped I'd get more than a few minutes of sleep because I knew that my body would soon shut down on me indefinitely if I didn't rest.
