The Search for Survivors~ A Partials Sequence fanfiction

Chapter 5 (Kira POV)

We continued to scout the area but we hadn't found anything major. There were only reeking bodies. The only important thing we had found was a notebook with some notes written in it and a bag which had held the notebook.

We walked back to the point where we had said that we'd meet the guys. I sat down and opened the bag and began reading through the notes in the notebook. Isolde sat next to me and also tried to analyze the notes in the notebook. But the handwriting was too hard to read.

Xochi was listening to music the whole time and was in her own world."What the hell is she even listening to?"asked Isolde,"Whenever I want to talk to her she's listening to music."

I smiled to myself. We never tried to interrupt Xochi's music. Even Nandita was tired of trying to talk to Xochi when she was listening to music.

"Hey,"I heard a voice calling. It was Samm.

"What did you find?" Isolde asked them.

"We found a woman in one of the tents."said Marcus.

I raised my eyebrow. The woman stepped in front of the guys and said,"My name is Jane and I believe you have my notebook." she pointed to the notebook that Isolde was holding.

Isolde went to her and handed her the notebook.

We began to walk back to the boat that we had tethered to the beach.

Isolde picked up one of the oars and Marcus picked up the other pair of oars. Samm sat next to me."Do you know her?"I asked him. 

"She knows me.But I don't remember seeing her before."He replied.

We kept quiet for the rest of the boat ride while my mind reeled to remember the name Jane and the chances that I knew that I knew her.
