I re-entered the room where Professor Song lay asleep. Nurse Hame consulted me as I entered the room.

"Doctor, she's gotten worse. She kept calling out someone's name, I'm not sure if it'll mean anything to you though." Nurse Hame said following me to the bed.

"Who's name?" I ask pulling the equipment into position beside the bed.

I quickly untangle the wires before plugging them into the machine. It takes a while to power up. It's strange, but I can't seem to take my mind of a women with gold for hair. I have this image in my head of her laughing. She glowed, her every feature were perfect. I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous of her husband.

"The Nightmare man..." Nurse Hame said a sense if evil amongst her voice. I drop the Paileenian Chip and stare into Nurse Hames solemn eyes. I heard Sarah Jane and Luke Smith mention him once. They told me to out watch for him. He is a Vishclar from the Saretti dimension.

"She mentioned someone else. 'The Dream Lord'. Have you ever heard of these people, Doctor? Doctor?" Nurse Hame asked staring back into my eyes, and intense expression on her furry face.

The Dream Lord. He haunts the nightmares of those at their most vulnerable times. He seeps into your dreams, keeping himself safe yet destroying. He pulls out your worst memory's and uses them against you. I have met him once in previous times with......the Ponds.........Amy...the girl who waited......and...Rory...the last centurion...oh, how I miss them.

"Doctor?" My thoughts were interrupted by the intruding voice of Jenny.

"Yes." I mutter under my breath connecting wires to Professor Songs delicate form.

"You 'k?" She asked squatting next to me.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I inquire shoving my thoughts to the back of my mind.

"I dunno. You ready?" Jenny changed the topic quickly, knowing if she pressed to much the Doctor would never come back. Though River had tried to help him, so had she. And Jenny understood, that to much pressure would burst his emotional wall.

"Yeah. I'll give you the instructions, Jenny. Press the green button, to connect my thoughts to her dreams. Press the red button to transport her dreams into my head. You must use the communicator as often as possible. Press the red button if there's no other way. You must put her out of pain, if needed. I don't matter." The Doctor instructs darkly showing Jenny buttons on the bunch of bits of machinery. The machinery is roughly strewn, no co-ordination had been used. I must have been in a rush, when I made this.

I hand Jenny the control panel, before laying myself down next to the bed.

The Doctor closed his eyes, his old, wise eyes. Those eyes had seen things that would make adults go running to their parents. Horrifying experiences floated around in his head. He carried the guilt of the lose of past companions with him, wherever and when ever he visited any place.

Jenny shakily tapped the green button. A whirring vibration growled from deep within the device, as it took action.

A green light danced from the Doctors forehead and latched onto Professor Songs closed eyes. It remained there for a couple of minutes before fading away. Was this a sign that the transformation was complete?

I felt Jenny press the activation button. My thoughts flowed towards Professor Songs.
