You enter the world, take you first gasp of air,
Your life is about to begin, you are not aware.
As you lay there so helpless and so weak,
You open your eyes to take a peep.
Now you are a toddler, life is so much fun,
Finding you have little legs that will take you as fast as you can run.
As time goes by you hit your teenage years,
Responsibilities are upon you, worry turns to fears.
Adolesance takes it toll, the years pass you by,
As you approach adulthood, how the time do fly.
Take each day as it comes, live life to the full,
Life is an uphill struggle, you have to push and pull.
Life is like a jigsaw, you try to make it fit,
You have a place on this earth for a reason; life is what you make it.
Life is a roller coaster, many ups and downs,
One day could be full of smiles, next a face of frowns.
You can not choose your family but your friends you can,
It should be equal opportunities being a woman or a man.
As you start to grow older, you become more wise,
You may lose your hair, even your teeth; I’m telling you no lies.
Wrinkles may appear, your hair may go grey,
Your mind may wonder, what more can I say.
