Anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a dad,

You are the one I look up, to the best anyone could have.

I know we do not always see eye to eye, but we are always heart to heart,

We both have our stubborn ways; I hate it when we part.

All through my life, you have guided me along the way,

That’s why I have the knowledge of being the woman I am today.

You have always looked out for me; you give me all your best,

You gave me help and encouragement when I took my driving test.

Growing up with you as my dad,

You have helped me in what I want to do.

No body could ever take your place when I have a dad like you,

The memories I have of you when I was young,

Non one can ever take away.

They are imprinted in my mind, sketched in my heart and that is where they will stay.
