A poem my Nanna wrote when I was little

If I had three wishes,

I know what I would do.

The first would be a peace of mind,

Enough to see me through.

The second to be happy and let me want to smile,

And take the head from out my heart,

It’s been there quite a while.

The third I grant my son’s the love; I wish that they had had

And understand there children when they become a dad.

There’s always time to listen to a little woe,

The years will go by so quickly, hang on and don’t let go.
