Y/n was a bit thicker then most people at their height. They had a shirt they preferred to wear and today they were having a movie night with the people they lived with, Patton, Roman, Logan, Virgil, and Thomas. At 4am Y/n got up to do their laundry, which meant they were stuck in shorts and a tank top until it finished and they put their clothes in the dryer. Y/n sighed and walked into the kitchen after putting the clothes into the dryer.

I grab a bowl and pour cereal into it. Hopefully my clothes finish before anyone wakes up. I take a glance at the clock, 5:30. 30 minutes to eat and hide in my room until my clothes finish drying. I open the fridge humming a bit, and I grab the milk and set it down. I move to the side and open a drawer, grabbing a spoon I put it into the bowl. "Five am and I'm already up...man I should have done the clothes at night," I chuckle and pour the milk into the bowl. Yet again, I open the fridge and put it back. Grabbing the bowl I head to my room.

Patton woke up at 5:40am. Twenty minutes early. He sighed and got up fully, going to the kitchen and cooking food for everyone else.
At 6:20am he heard the dryer go off and he smiled, going to get the clothes to help whom ever they belonged to. When he saw Y/n's favorite shirt he smiled and took out the clothes putting them into a basket. He paused for a minute before deciding to take the shirt, he smiled at the shirt before putting it down and taking the basket to Y/n's room. He knocked on the door and a tired Y/n came to the door, opening it, "oh uh hello Patton." Y/n stayed behind the door, just their head sticking out. Patton smiled, "I got your clothes for you! I heard the dryer go off and yeah- want to help me finish cooking kiddo?" They nodded, "sure let me get clothes on."

After a few minutes everyone woke up and Y/n hadn't came out of their room.

I walk over to Y/n's room, "Y/n, are you okay- you haven't came out and-." Behind the door I heard things being thrown around a bit. I open the door, "Y/n are you okay?" Y/n was frantically looking through their room. "Patton did you see my favorite shirt?" I nodded, "it was in the basket-" Y/n stood up, "no it wasn't and if I don't have that shirt I can't come out of the house ever again-" I walked over to them and hugged them, "how about you look downstairs?" Y/n nodded and hugged me back, "okay yeah I'll look." They ran to the door, opened it and walked down the stairs. I followed a bit behind, this is literally the second time I've seen Y/n in shorts and a tank top, the first time was in the middle of the night.

I hear a gasp, and I run down the stairs, Y/n runs to the bathroom downstairs and everyone else except Virgil looks surprised. Virgil must have seen them before in the shorts and shirt I guess. I run off to where Y/n went and knock, "Y/n are you alright- they were just surprised to see you in shorts and a tank top-" I hear muffled crying and I open the door, walk in, and close it behind me. "Y/n...I'm sorry I should have warned you-" They look up at me, "I'm pr-probably over reacting i-its fine..." I go over to them and hug them, "hush, I know how you feel with what you look like kiddo, but the thing is we all love you as you are, you don't need to hide like this. You are perfect as you are, no matter what you look like, or what size you are you are perfect. No matter what people say, or what you think, there is just more of you for everyone to love." Y/n hugs me back, "thanks Patton..."

"Its no problem at all, anything I could do for you, I would do."
