|| "Patton x reader

The reader has issues with their parents like them not excepting them and disowning them for like their sexuality or something like that and it makes them feel like they're useless and not important and then Patton helps them feel appreciated like they do matter."

-This has happened to me, just with my whole blood family. Family I find are the people who would kill for you/die with/for you. (i.e. My friend 'adopted' me and he is my 'surrogate dad'. I also 'adopt' my friends when stuff like this happens to them)-..

This is PLATONIC (if you want I can do a romantic version but like it'll only change a few things)||

Y/n wiped the tears from their face. They had came out as (sexuality/gender/whatever you want) to their parents, which resulted in them being forcefully kicked out with only a bag full of things. As Y/n got up to Patton's house, they smiled a bit. Patton had always been there for them, and Y/n hoped that this time he would be as well. Once they reached the door they knocked, and moved back away from the door a bit. Patton opened the door, smiling widely, "oh Y/n! Why are you here?" Y/n looked down, "got kicked out." Y/n had lived in their parents house after collage, as they had wanted to get a job before they jumped into having to work on 'adultery'. Patton frowned and hugged Y/n, "come on, lets get into the house and we can talk about this!" As he started walking, Y/n followed, as he had an arm around them. Patton closed the door behind them and he instantly moved Y/n to the couch. "Okay, I know I need to kill your parents, but why? What happened?! Oh please tell me they didn't hurt you!" Y/n laughed a bit, and hugged Patton again, "no need to kill them. I uh I came out to them is all...and," they looked down, crying again, "my dad started yelling and my mom shoved me into my room. After a few my dad came in and said I had two minutes to get everything I wanted packed and to leave after." Patton nodded, "I won't kill them then...but that's not okay Y/n! They should love you they are your parents. I would never do that to you, so I guess I do just simply love you more then they do!" Patton looked rather annoyed and Y/n's face was filled with shock. "Y-you actually love me? Oh my gosh I thought you were going to leave me too- I thought I didn't matter to you anymore..." Patton laughed a bit and grabbed Y/n's hand squeezing it, "who in their right mind couldn't love you? You are amazing. You are perfect as you are, and you matter so much! Especially to me!"

Y/n smiled and looked up at him, "thanks Pat." Patton nodded, and wiped off the tear streaks on their face, "no problem at all since, it's true."

Patton squeals a bit, "I know! We can be like best-friends living with each other. Oh and like we can have sleepovers in each other's rooms too!" Y/n chuckled, "oh my Pat, you always make me feel better. We can totally have sleepovers in each other's rooms."

"This will be amazing!"

"Absolutely."
