For You (Logan x Mute!Reader)

     Y/n's head held low as they walked out of the hospital. They had lost their voice completely after getting rather sick. Which, turned out to end up in their vocal cords being ruined. Their life in musicals was over completely, and that just ment they had to find out everything again.

      The only up-side to this all was that they had already known ASL as that was the language class they took in high school. They quickly ran to their car, unlocked it, got in, and started thinking everything over. They would have to tell everyone their voice was gone for good, and somehow communicate this with them.

      Logan sighed, continuing to read his book, waiting for Y/n to show up again. Y/n had been staying with him as their throat was healing. In the simplest way Logan was excruciatingly worried for Y/n. He stood up and walked out of his room to the living room.

      As Y/n pulled up to the Sanders' house they frowned. They saw that everyone was home, which would make things easier yet ment they had to explain soon. They parked, got out, locked the car, and walked into the house, carrying a whiteboard and dry erase markers. Once they reach the door, they knock and move out of the way.

      Logan quickly walked to the door and opened it. He frowned as he saw Y/n's grim expression. The male had automatically figured something dismal had happened while they were at the doctor's office.

      Y/n stepped in and hugged Logan instantly. The male frowned, "what happened Y/n?" Y/n backed up and wrote everything down on the board in their hands. They reluctantly handed it over.

      Logan read what was on the board and frowned, "so you won't be able to talk again...I'm sorry this happened Y/n..."

      Y/n shook their head, and wrote again 'it's not your fault. I just wish someone knew sign language here :('

      Logan sighed, "I'll learn it for you Y/n. You just have to wait a while..."

      Y/n smiled at the other, as he said everything they signed.

      "Anything for you my dear."
