Tord POV

"Aw, whoops, gotta go. Got an important meeting. Bye!" I lied, pushing past the two and heading outside. I just headed back to the base, not bothering with talking to Tom.

As I walked by an old building, something caught my eye.

"The old Playground..." I mumbled in awe. It was still here.

Years ago, back in Elementary, me and Tom surprisingly didn't hate each other. Granted, he was a lot more cheerful when he was younger. Continuing, we used to play here all the time, pretending to be different people. Those were the best times I ever had as a child.

I run over to the playground, giggling. I soon ran onto the playground, being greeted by Tom.

"What took you so long silly?" Tom asked, smiling happily.

"Everyone was being dumb and not following the rules." I explained briefly, having a thick, Norwegian accent.

"Were they being Bullies?" Tom asked curious.

"A few." I answered.

"Did they hurt you?" Tom asked worried.

"No, silly! I can pwotect me." I assured. Tom sighed of relief.

"Good. I wouldn't wanna see you hurt." Tom said.

~Back to the Present~

I jumped the fence and walked up to the old, rusty playground.

"Man, it's been so long." I mumbled, climbing onto the playground. The school was obviously closed down.

"I would give anything for times to be as carefree as before." I mumbled again. I sat down, seeing that the sun was setting. I felt my phone vibrate, meaning someone texted me. A text from Paul.

'Sir? Where are you?'

'Just out'

'For how long?'

'An hour at most'

'Alright'

I turned off my phone and stared at the setting sun. I saw a car go by, Edd's car.

Tom POV

I stared out the window, bored. Edd decided it would be smart to just drive around town for a bit.

I notice the school I went to for Elementary right away. I had gone to Middle School unlike most students, so I haven't seen it in forever.

"Hey, isn't that Norm?" Matt asked, pointing out the window.

"What?" I question, confused as hell. I saw Edd look out the window.

"You mean Tord? Didn't he say he had to go to a meeting or something?" Edd questioned.

"Maybe it's over? Besides, why do you two care so much? It's not like we're all buddy-buddy with him." I groaned. I had a blank-slate expression, since I honestly didn't care. Yes, he possibly saved my life, but that doesn't mean I'm comfortable with being friends with him.

"Then why did the ringtone he uses for you go off earlier on his phone?" Edd questioned. I felt my heart stop for a second and a bead of sweat roll down my forehead.

"I don't know, maybe he uses it for someone else now." I lied. I pursed my lips together as Edd glared at me. Matt seemed to be looking at the both of us, not saying a word. I soon looked up at the windshield and saw a car only a few feet away from us. I jumped back in surprise.

"EDD! CAR!" I screamed, seeing Edd quickly turn the wheel fully in a state of panic.
