"Your joking." I insisted.
"Am not Thomas." Tord said.
"I don't believe you. There is no way a person like you could actually care enough to help two people they abandoned." I laughed. I didn't want to believe him.
"How else would I have known you left?" Tord asked.
"...I'd much rather I do the questioning." I mumbled.
"Fine, what did you want to ask me? If you could kill me? Bet that's it." Tord asked bitterly.
"Tempting, but no. I actually wanted to ask you about something else." I answered.
"Go ahead." Tord sighed.
"What was with that thing you shouted before running off? About trying to forget?" I asked. Tord didn't answer.
"I asked you a question. Am I or am I not going get an answer?" I growled.
"It's nothing." Tord said before shoving past me. I watched as he walked off.
Tord POV (Short again, just because of the first paragraph)
I walked off, feeling tears roll down my cheeks. I don't even know why I am crying...
I walked back to the base, hoping to fall asleep. Only slightly successful.
Tom POV
I decided to head back home. At least we still have apartments, so it's not like we're living in the same house. I walked into the apartment building and walked into the elevator.
"I can't be bothered to take the stairs right now." I huffed, hitting the second floor button. I stood in the elevator until it came to a stop and the doors opened. I walked out and went to room 25, which was my apartment.
I opened the door before walking in and closing it again. I looked at the time. 2:34 AM. Damn it was late. Well, early, but you get the picture. I headed to my room, hoping I will fall asleep.
