Tom stood there, red faced. He wasn't sure on what to say, nor what to do. He glanced over at his phone. He stuck up a finger before running over to grab his phone. He quickly opened up the messenger app, clicking on his conversation with Tord. He quickly began typing.
'I love you too.' Tom replied, walking back up to Tord. Tord looked up from the small screen, smiling like a dork. Without warning, he tackled Tom in a hug, noticeably starting to tear up. Tom could hear someone exiting their apartment, but he didn't mind. His phone had landed on the floor by the entrance, displaying the message openly. Tord's phone lay beside his.
"Tom? Tord?" Edd questioned from the doorway, Matt beside him. Tom looked up over Tord's shoulder, who looked behind him. Tom and Tord just awkwardly stared at the duo.
"Wassup?" Tord asked, awkwardly laughing. Edd just looked between the two. Matt was actually the one to pick up Tom and Tord's phones, showing Edd the text messages. Edd started squealing like a little kid, Matt smiling a large smile.
"I'm starting to regret doing this in the wide open..." Tord muttered, watching his friends' excitement. Tom laughed along with the other two, feeling joyous. Tord got up, helping Tom off the floor. After getting up, Tom quickly grabbed Tord by the wrist and pulled him over to Edd and Matt, joining them in the cheerful celebration. Tom and Tord explained how they got together, not leaving out a single detail.
"I'm proud of you two. I'm just so happy to see you two have gotten over the hate you two had for each other in the past." Edd congratulated. Tom quickly texted Tord what Edd had said, just so his devil horned lover could be a part of the conversation.
"Who said I hated him in the first place?" Tord questioned, laughing. Tom smiled. He enjoyed this, and he felt as though nothing could ruin this moment. Too bad the world isn't filled with happiness, peace and instead met with pain and lingering hatred.
