Tom and Tord looked at each other, then their screens, then back at each other. They were both panicking.
"Well F**k then!" Tom shouted, still unsure on what to do.
"Call him or something!" Tord suggested.
"I will!" Tom shouted, quickly typing in Edd's number. His phone rang quietly before Edd picked up.
"Tom? What the heck is going on?" Edd asked calmly.
"About the text messaging, that's old texts. Must've just been notifying you now. About where I am, I'm at a friend's house. You don't know him, I met him in middle school." Tom lied.
"It was notifying Matt too." Edd said plainly.
"There's only one explanation." Tom declared.
"And it's yours?" Edd questioned.
"Yep. Your phones are obviously broken." Tom finalized.
"Seriou-" Edd started, before a high-pitched, feminine scream rang out.
"SPIDER!" Tord screamed, falling off the bed. There had been a spider hanging in front of his face just a few mere seconds ago, and he was breathing heavily thanks to it. "PAU! TOM! SOMEBODY F*****G KILL IT!"
"I'm on the damn phone!" Tom shouted.
"Was that Tord?" Edd questioned. He recalled Tord having a fear of spiders, and Tom teasing Tord about it.
"No!" Tom shouted, lying.
"GUYS JUST KILL IT BEFORE IT KILLS ME!" Tord screeched. Pau sighed and grabbed a nearby gun, shooting the spider.
"Your lucky I'm your friend." Paul said. While Tord was on the floor calming down, Tom was continuing his assault of lies.
"Look! Edd! I promise that whatever your thinking is not that! I swear!" Tom insisted. However, Edd hung up without saying anything. Tom put his phone away and sighed. Tord texted Tom something on a different text strand.
'What happened?' Tord managed to type through shaking fingers. Tom sighed and brought his phone to his face.
'Edd knows I'm here. He doesn't know where here is, but he knows I'm with you' Tom texted. Tord felt as though he ruined this, but quickly blamed it on the spider.
'I blame the spider.' Tord texted with a shrug. Tom just chuckled in response, which to Tord, was inaudible.
