The Master came quickly down the stairs and the Seer took the opportunity to whisper something in Lee's ear. He looked at her, confused but surprised for a moment. Then, as the Master got closer, Lee ran off, heading towards the main console.

The Seer smiled and walked quickly towards the Master. The Master looked over at Lee. It was obvious that he didn't know what the oriental human boy was doing. Then his face turned to one of anger, "You're not!"

"What?" the Seer mocked his horror, "Is he mwessing up your pwans?" she said in a childish voice that almost passed for an imitation of a character from Looney Toons. The frown on the Master's face deeped.

"Very funny. Remind me to create a paradox for you next time, will you?"

"You were in charge of all this?!" the Seer was surprised.

"Yes, of course. What else did you expect? Did you think this was all coincidence?" The Master wasn't about to let anybody--especially not the Seer--know that it was all just a coincidence.

The Seer didn't know what to say. She had a feeling that the Master was lying, but at the same time, it felt as if he were speaking the truth. So hard to decipher him! She had no idea why. Wait... maybe she did. Maybe it was the deathworm morphus inside him. That could often interfere with her abilities--even the minor ones like lie-detecting. She had no rule over the realm of the dead, but the undead.... they were half and half.

It wasn't impossible, but it was really annoying and hard. Like trying to get a clear picture on an old television set with the Bunny Ear antenna. The Seer stared at the Master. She knew that she had to get the deathworm out of Koschei, but she also had to stop the Doctors and Graces from having more pain. The red headed girl stood by the door, seemingly invisible to the evil Time Lord. Seer backed up slowly, trying to keep the Master oblivious to the female's prescence.

"A deathworm morphus, out of all the ways to come back, why choose something that looks like a water snake?"

"Ah," he smiled, taking the bait--the distraction, "easy, so easy to take with few consequences. All I needed was a host. And, fortunatly, I have a common earth gang to thank for that. Shooting the Doctor... and Grace. The surgeon that nearly killed him. Fantastic, don't you think?" he ranted at the Time Lady, "Take over the first person in the ER I can find and I hit the ground running." Amy's mouth was open in a little 'o.' She obviously hadn't met a lot of other Time Lords.

The Master turned his back, his hospital shoes squeaking against the smooth floor.

The Seer grimaced, "First person in ER. You still have to master the American accent." she noted the English lilt that the Gallifreyan still spoke with while trying to speak like an American.

"Time. All comes with time, which we have an abundance of here." he said. Koschei turned suddenly, his cat eyes staring staight through the Seer and right at Amy Pond. The Seer frowned.

     "Koschei?" she started.

His eyes narrowed, "Don't call me that." He sounded almost possessed, which would be rather odd, considering he--in the deathworm--was possessing a human.

Amy shifted uncomfotably and the Master's eyes were once again glued to the human standing behind the Seer.

"Come here." he hissed, still with that weird 'possessed' voice. Amy didn't moved so the Time Lord repeated himself, "Come here, Amelia Pond."
