7. Ordinary game

Aera's POV

'Go ! Go ! Go !'
'Blueo blueo'
'Go ! Go ! Go !'
'Blueo ! blueo !'

It's giving me a head ace !
People are cheering like crazy !
It's hard for us girls to concentrate on our game . We all are in so much pressure . Last few minutes are left and anything can happen . We can win or loss.

Drops of sweat are flowing down from my forehead . I clean it with my palm .

I am not sweating from playing .
I am sweating out of nervousness. 😥

********Few minutes later********

" hey congratulations !" Maya came running towards me

" thanks" I said in a flat tone

"hey! Congrats .. your team won" Andrew said walking behind Maya

" thanks " I said
We started walking out of the stadium .

" hey look, isn't it Mark ?" Maya said pointing far away

" ya .. what is he doing with jenny? I thought he already left "
Andrew said

" it's Jenna" I interrupted him

" isn't she your captain" Maya added

" ya" I replied

" she played good today" Andrew said

We started walking towards mark and Jenna , not because we wanted to , but because they were standing near Andrew's car . And we all are riding back in his car .

" hey Aera!" Mark said smiling

" hey" I said passing him

" nice game" Mark said suddenly putting his hand on my shoulder and pulling me towards him . What is he trying to do ? I see Jenna looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

" I'll see you around , Mark" Jenna said smiling at Mark

" k " that's all Mark said .

What a way to reply someone . Jenna started walking away from us . I turn my head up looking at Mark whose face was quite close to my head . Our eyes meet and he wiggles his eyebrows. Is he teasing me . I immediately pushed his arm off my shoulder. I heard him chuckle.

" what now ?" I asked in frustration

"I didn't  ....(laughs) ....know.....( laughs) ... that you ....(laughs)" Mark said laughing

" we'll talk when your done laughing " I said frustrated. I opened the back door of the car and sat inside .

Door to other side of cars back seat opens , I thought it might be maya but no , it was the laughing guy Mark . when did he started sitting in the back seat . Maya and Andrew stepped in the front . They are also giggling. Andrew started his car and mark started his mouth .

" I didn't knew that you were an extra player" Mark said . Now He is insulting me .

" I am a new member of the team , so they don't let us play first ." I said

" haha finally I was hoping to see you hit some balls rather then people" Mark said chuckling

" Aera was the best player back in our high school . She was the captain of Volleyball team. I'm sure she will play in next game ." Maya said. Finally Maya spoke for her best friend . I smiled at her .

" let's hope" Mark said finally without laughing

" hey Mark , you said that you won't come see the match ?" Andrew asked Mark

" ya I was busy . But then I got free early so I thought why not come cheer..." Mark turned his face towards me smirking .
His next word  burnt me .
" an extra player !" Mark said

I hit him in his arm . He is teasing me .
Yes I am an extra player in my team . Because I am a new comer . I am still practising how to deal with new team members , new rules , team play and all . 
It will take me some time to adjust with a new team . My new couch wanted a safe play so he made only seniors play in the game . I was hoping that at least one person should get injured , so that couch can sent me in the field to play . But no . No one injured, no one got any card , and I had to sit on the bench and see them all play and win.

Now looking at these boys sitting inside the car ... talking about Jenna , how hot she is , her body , her game .
It's setting fire in my heart , now I wish that Jenna should have got hurt or gotten some card and send out of court .
I suddenly realise Maya sitting quietly . She rarely stays quite . I guess she is also burning , listening to boys talking about another girl.

"I'm hungry" I said

" me to" Mark said

" me to" Andrew also joined us

" there's a restaurant near here!" Maya said excitedly

Andrew immediately pulled towards the nearest parking .There was a basketball court near the parking . We all quickly got out of the car discussing about what we all want to eat .

Mark suddenly stopped me , pulling my arm .
" you guys go ahead , we'll catch you in a minute" Mark asked Maya and Andrew to go ? What does he wants from me ?

I turn towards Mark to ask him
" what is it?" I said

" was it Jenna's revenge?" Mark asked

" what?" I asked back confused

" did she made you sit out during the game?" Mark asked

" umm not exactly, it was coach's decision. He said i have to work hard on team work first then he .......... ouch!"
Something suddenly banded my head .😖

Wait ! did something hit my head ?
Basketball... volleyball ....football ......
All balls are my enemy!!!
