8. Ordinary Cops

Aera's POV
What happens when something heavy hits you from behind ?
It's impact makes you fall forward.

That's... what... happened.... with me
A basketball 🏀 hit the back of my head , making my head bump into the thing in front of me .... MARK'S CHEST!!!

" Ouch my head !" 😣 I whispered

" you fu**ers !!!" 😡 Mark shouted loudly . He immediately placed his hand on my head , running it in circles , where that stupid ball hit .

" That chick came out of no where !" Some random guy shouted back . I just burry my head in Mark's chest . its embarrassing !!

" you a** hole , moth***fu****! Come here I will sho...!" Mark suddenly started shouting more dirty words . I could hear those people also cursing back . He pushed me aside and started walking towards them .

I turn around to see the situation. It looks like they are going to fight . 3 scary guys against one guy 'Mark'.
That's not good , plus I'm hungry.

I quickly run towards them .
" let's go" I pulled Mark holding his arm

" go man .. your chick is waiting !" One of them said laughing

Suddenly Mark slipped his arm out of my hand and ....
Guess what ?
Mark throw a punch 🤛 at that laughing guy !!
" oh ! Shi**" I mumbled

That guy got up from the floor quickly . Now all three of them towers on us . We are dead !
Soon this playground turned into fighting ground .
3 of them were throwing punches on Mark. No actually they were trying to throw punches and surprisingly Mark was avoiding them good .
I guess he can fight .
"Ooh" I whispered
" ooh"I whispered again
Because view in front of me was good . Mark beating there asses out . I wish I had my couch and a bag of popcorn 🍿.

Suddenly I hear sirens 🚨

" cops !" All 4 of them shouted

Guess what ?
they are started running towards different directions.
Including Mark !

What am I suppose to do ?

" idiot ! Come" I felt a pull on my arm . It's Mark . He holds my hand and started running .

" why we running ?" I asked breathing heavy
This guy even runs faster! I am a player and my stamina is bad then his .

" you want to go to jail ?" he said running and pulling me along . He is holding my hand too tightly . Where the hell are we going ?

" no! Why will I go to jail ? You guys were fighting not me!" I said snorting

" what ?" Mark whispered and suddenly stops pulling me towards the wall. It's a small valley . Empty street. I guess our hide out until cops go away.

" you should thank me !" He whispered

" for what ? Causing trouble ?" I whispered back
Marks takes a deep breath , his breath is minty . He whispers back " I saved you"

" from what ? You started fighting first !" I said poking his chest

He holds my finger in his hand stopping my action .
" your impossible" he mumbles

" I'm not imm..." I was stopped suddenly from speaking by a hand .
Mark placed his hand on my mouth . He keeps his finger on his lips as if asking me to shoo !!!🙊

Police men were passing by , thats why Mark asked me to stay quite .
After a minute , they were gone and Marks hand was gone from my face.

We both started walking back towards Our friends.
Mark is walking too fast .
" wait up" I said
" move that bu* of your faster " Mark said loudly

" you jerk !" I hissed

" hey by the way ..." I ran a bit to catch up with him .

Guess what ?
I didn't see that the surface was not smooth .

" thanks fooooo....." I tripped .. my words still in my mouth .

I didn't fall on the surface ! Thank god ...😌

"Thanks for saving me" I squealed awkwardly looking down at Mark 😅
